Goodlookin cuz, it seems like the whole sw moved/moving to yeadon/upper Darby even the Africans. Hahaha

    ^^

Real rap, a bunch of my lil cannons done moved out there causing all types of shit. Y-Town police weren’t prepared for them L-I-B niggas to come thru and set up shop, lol.

Fuck Darby niggas, though. Dem niggas is joe, buncha hating ass niggas.

    JihaD
    ^^^^^
it’s alot of chester, PA niggas who moved up to the Darby area, straightuplames. As for yeadon, for a quick minute it was a cashcow but u kno them white folks put two and two together. I don’t really bang with anyone from down bottom, 60th street, market street and down

    ^^

Yea, My ol head and a couple of our cannons got bagged up out there. Dem Crackers started wire tapping and put all of Bulloch on surveilence– bagged up FAM-Uno niggas, including Pook Papers (that nigga doing a stretch) and Prince, took like 5 of my YTN niggas off the block, including my young bul Thrax and my nigga Mars, Puff, Da Bul Kenny, and Cali Snubbs… and they trying to put a conspircy charge on my ol head Swigg– I can’t even call my niggas up there right now cuz them crackers is wigging like that.

but yea, fam, just hit me up whit those jawns when you get a chance and Ima definitely check em out.

Great choice as well…the breakdown in the middle of that shit alone is one of the best songs of the year…..matter of fact….

    May the Lord forgive us
May the God’s be with us
And that magic hour I seen good christians make rash decisions
Oh she do it, what happened to Religion?
    Oh she lose it
She putting on her make up
    She casually allure
Text message break up, the casualty of tour
How she gone wake up and not love me no more
I thought I was the ass hole, I guess it’s rubbing off
Hood phenomenom, the Lebron of rhyme
Hard to be humble when you stuntin on a jumbotron
I’m looking at her like “this what you really want it, huh?”
What we argue anyway, oh I forgot its summertime

One of ye’s best verses on the album.

Were at the end of the year, best album and song discussion is imminent.

I realize u can’t/won’t co-sign this, but the rawse verse and the instrumental breakdown on the LP version was just… Incredible.

But I’m still partial to the GOOD friday version..

    That beat, goodness gracious

  25. Jerry Nice Says:

Jihad…did you listen to Friday Night Lights? I know you’re not a fan but you should check it out based off “Too Deep for the Intro” alone. Or just that song

  26. Hopp Says:

I agree on Last Real Nigga Alive [Pt. 2] being at least competing.

    That’s sayin’ a lot for a 2-minute track.

Never heard this. I literally deleted the cop music from the album and replaced the songs with Christian Dior Denim Flow (which flows remarkably well with the album) and the GF DIAND.

And no, I will never, EVER co-sign law enforcement.

I got about 6 songs in, fell alseep, then waited on people to tell me which songs were worth listening too. I pretty much only listen to Villematic now, and Premeditated Murder.

@Tron- its next on my list. I been listening to this Banks pretty exclusively. Marcberg is next on the list, though. Maybe It’ll be my workout music for tommorow.

Takin’ BSG’s picture outta the milk box being the priority, I need to hear more of that for sure.

  42. Hopp Says:

Son- I missed the space jams completely. I’ve been thirsty for some 11s since, but I refuse to pay 250+ for some. My homie shows up at my house rockin a pair and has NO CLUE that they are hard to find. He’s like “these? I just got em at foot locker one Saturday”

and STILL puff manages to make it sound mediocre at best. ridiculous.

Yeah the only joint that Roc should’ve reworked was Jungle Fever… his hook on there is cringe worthy… the rest of the song was str8 though

  61. NEWKIDONDABLOG Says:

Jay-z cant write raps anymore, nor make em up in his head. he just needs to make his 1 more “experimental” album and call it quits before his legend title gets taken away.

alot of the Good Friday tracks were album worthy by they would of threw off the flow of the album..

remember Live Fast Die Young, Chain Heavy and The Joy were initially on the album but didn’t make the cut

Unless he does Hip Hop collabo albums like the Watch The Throne album… he needs to hang it up period… his catalog is based off of Reasonable Doubt… overrated song writer & lacks creativity… but status is a muthafucka!

    ^^^

Afraid not playa… I’ve heard Jay-Z Bragga raps, concept songs & for over 15 years… I’m not saying he is wack…b/c that’s blasphemy… but he’s not nearly as great as the general public nor the current generation makes him out to be. He’s the 1 MC from his generation that sold out in order to stay relevant *Check BP3* He is not more creative/nor a better song writer than Biggie, Nas, Ice Cube, Pharoahe Monch, Ghostface or Scarface… but I’ll agree to disagree with ya

  70. Jerry Nice Says:

Funny thing is, people don’t know the difference.

IMO rap song of the year nominees-

    Kanye West- Dark Fantasy

Drake- The Resistance (Best song on TML. Verses, hook & beat were all sharp)

    Jay Electronica- The Announcement

Rick Ross- Free Mason (I’d put Tears of Joy but lets face it, the lyrics were average on that)

    J. Cole- Premeditated Murder

    Vado- Large On The Streets

Ok fine Victory ft NaS was pretty incredible!
