Truth. I think he was the first QB to beat Green Bay on the road in the postseason in forever. But he relied way too much on his athleticism. Now he’s a much more polished passer – he could always gun it downfield, but he’s a lot more patient now.

No, I thought he was saying Vick’s prime was when he was with Atlanta. Usually when people reference a player’s “prime”, they mean he’s already peaked. I clearly said Vick was playing better now than he ever had before.

Deen this is like the Jay vs Nas debate, we’ll never agree. I am part of the righteous few, you are doomed to a life of mediocrity. Like the rest of the Arsenal fan base you’ve never even set foot in Highbury or the Emirates, in fact I’d say I’ve been more times than you. How you think you can champion the Gooner cause as being one which is destined for greatness is beyond me. Admittedly Tottenham were shit for so many years, painful viewing and Arsenal had their moments when Bergkamp and Henry reigned supreme. However the only string that is tying your whole team together is Fabregas and he is off next season. Tottenham will be the dominant force in North London from this season onwards. Get used to that reality. And like the Gooner fans always do, they fade to black when their team is doing shit because you are the biggest fucking pussies in the whole league. The Tottenham Youth could beat the whole of the Emirates blacker than blue, faggots.

Lagos indeed. My fam’s still in one of “those” neighborhoods. I’m lucky.

When we moved back to Nigeria, we had a NTSC system TV and the system over there like in the UK is PAL. No TV for about a year. The day we got it converted, I turned the TV on it was Arsenal away to Nottingham Forrest. I think Ian Wright hit a brace or hattrick + the yellow away jersey and I was hooked immediately. This was in 1992/93.

This beat is sick, and Snoop and Dre sound great.

^Yup. And Dre and Snoop desperately miss Nate Dogg on that song. Desperately.

    ^^^

For real. Hurts my heart. I’d find someone to do a Nate Dogg impression and call it a day. Who did the hook for “Cinderella Man?” That’s the sound they need.

Also… this TI-Em collab is decent, except TI has his “Live Your Life” flow and Em has his “Renegade” flow, with a little bit of his Recovery flow. These two are usually good at new flows.

I’m talking strictly sales and stature in the game–and even then, Jay E will have to be on some huge records to even reach that.

The problem is, hip-hop on the radio is all about that Young Money bullshit (no ranting, I promise). Jay E is gonna sound completely out of place on a Lil’ Wayne or Drake joint.

Don’t know about ever but definitely of the 2000’s. That shit flawless from start to end and it was concise! PERFECT ALBUM. Common was spitting serious knowledge and he sounded hungry too + he was backed by Ye and Dilla (on 2 cuts). DONE DEAL!

    ‘The beast in runnin’ rampant
I’m in between sheets tryna have sex that’s tantric
But the ghetto, tryna make a get up stand up anthem
You spit hot garbage son of Sanford
What you rappin’ for to get fame or get rich?
I slap a nigga like you
And tell him Rick James bitch’

Can’t believe people are saying that boring FF (even though it had some joints) is better.

That’s an exaggeration to say the least. Hov’s best verses are on RD and that’s JUST FACT!

Apart from maybe nas on Illmatic or Lupe on FNL & The Cool, I don’t think i’ve ever heard better rapping than was done on RD.
