Akomplice x Hieroglyphics

Akomplice has teamed up with the Hieroglyphics to create this Hooded Varsity jacket that comes with an exclusive song Hiero made for the project. Grab the song below, via their website. Akomplice also hosted an in-store signing, live performance and club afterparty last week, pics and videos here.

Akomplice has come together with the legendary Hieroglyphics crew to create a truly unique collaboration, in which both parties do what they do best. Akomplice has taken their very popular Hooded Varsity silhouette and created a new version that bears both the Akomplice and Hiero logos (Hiero’s logo was voted the third most recognizable logo in music by Rolling Stone magazine). Then Hieroglyphics took it to another level by creating an original track, especially for the project, that will come with the Hooded Varsity jacket. Akomplice and Hiero have been mutual fans of each other for several years now, and it was just a matter of time before both parties came together and created a next-level piece. This collaborative effort will only be available at Hieroglyphic’s online store and Akomplice’s online store.

Also be on the look out for Hieroglyphics members solo releases: Pep Love “Rigamarole”, Opio “Vulture’s Wisdom Vol 2”, Casual “He Still Think He Raw”, Phesto “Background Check”.

I think I’m the only black dude on planet earth…that never wore rocawear, enyce, ecko, fubu, maurice malone, etc.

    Never wore nigger brands.

    I was born with style.

  2. fuck boy music Says:

Again, I’m Black. I’m more a of refined [ (c) deen ] negro though. I’m light skinted, I never in my life wore rocawear, enyce, ecko, fubu or nigger brands.

But I would never let niggers wear my clothing brand or fashion line.

No uncle rukus, but niggers ruin name brands. They make it too niggerish.

  3. fuck boy music Says:

If I started a clothing line/brand, I would never let black people wear it. GUESS WHAT? I’m BLACK. LOL

No im not a tom. Hear me out.

Black people destroy BRAND INTEGRITY. Black people bastardize and nigganize clothes brands.

I don’t want Niggers wearing my clothes/fashion like its Rocawear or FUBU.

Go wear your ecko and enyce. Stop ruining RL/Polo for me.

What bothers me the most are the occasional corny lines. But that has been almost a calling card of his throughout his career, I just accept that as the price of admission because he does infuse his rhymes with his sense of humor. But his rhymes are almost always interesting and have some form of theme. Even his non sequitur rhymes (So Appalled, Glenwood) have dope lines. Definitely makes good/entertaining songs, despite the sometimes not-great beat/rhymes/flow.

One can acknowledge that Kanye makes great music without anointing with the status of great rapper. He tries damn hard though…

  9. Chris Cash Says:

and yeah I know ppl stoped using limewire yrs ago, but it was still helpful for me.
