Question, I want to know what everyone thinks do you think you can tell a lot about a person depending who there fav. mc is and type of hip hop they like or do you think it holds no water

  5. big_seth Says:

Watch the Throne is Jay’s album for hip hop heads I would guess.

He knows that if he don’t get Ye on at least half those tracks he is gonna be dissed.

I think he’s gonna come correct (no Beyonce)

Nah not really. I think that if your reason for listening to an MC is because you feel like u can identify and relate to him then u probably need to grow up. That shit is entertainment simple and plain.

    My favorite MC?

    Old Jay Z

The one from RD up to even the black album IMO. There are some good tracks on AG & BP3, but almost everything else has been ass.

It seems like Ye is trying to bring the best out of him again.

Occasionally it can tell you about someone but more often than not I think it doesn’t hold up. It’s easy to like music from two different ends spectrum.

I met this really sweet, bright, unassuming white girl named Natalie who was a Mobb Deep STAN. No relation to the music whatsoever but she loved that shit.

    Yea,

that triple entendre line got to me.

The first few times I excused it, but it became annoying to the point where I can’t even listen.

otherwise it was great. He lost a lot of points for that IMO. like he knew Drake’s album was gonna blow and he had to fuck up his legacy there. He knows what an entendre is.

smh @ emory been vp of roc nation…jayz dont help none of his old friends and roc nation aint making no moves

“[I] want to build the best entertainment company ever, which is Roc Nation, which comes at a great time,” Jay said in an interview when asked about his current ambitions. “This week, if you look on the charts, the number one record is Rihanna, and we manage her. The producer of that record is Stargate, we manage them. Number two is Alexis Jordan, she’s on Roc Nation. Number four is Cee-Lo, we published the writer. Number five is Bruno Mars, we published the writer. So I’m just looking forward to building the best entertainment company ever made.” (BBC)
