    Word! Great cover art lol.

  6. Deen Says:

    Damn. I missed the daily Nas Stanning session. Oh well.

    Kanye has gotten better over the years, but he still strikes me as a very average rapper with better than average relatability (if that’s a word) and superstar production status.

    He’s on that “let the beat carry him shit”, but despite his flaws as a rapper, his effort and enthusiasm alone make him better than most of his peers today.

  7. CiCi The Intern Says:

    Photoshop should’ve shut down on dude who was making this.

  29. b-ease Says:

    Kanye’s main technical issue as a MC is breath control. Thing is, his delivery makes this sound like enthusiasm as opposed to bad rapping, so to me, it doesn’t derail the overall sonic experience.

    Camel promised Chris a Roc Nation deal that never materialized, and instead signed J. Cole after raping Chris stylistically and artistically hearing one once.

    ==============================
    This is all factual.

    Chris hung in there and waited…and waited.

    I’m surprised he hasn’t been more vocal about the Camel’s fuckery. Maybe because the stans immediately brand anyone who has something negative to say about Jay a hater.

    ^^

    I did too. I was listening to Clue tapes heavy and Sheik always stood out to me, especially on 4.3.2.1 and the You Know Me Steez freestyles. Plus joints like Well, Well, Well. I think it was moreso delivery, because while Styles and Kiss never vary their flow, Sheik actually experiments with different rhyme schemes and voice modulations.

    If lox the dream team you get dunked on like china/remind us, player/ we the real McCoys/ With a little twist of something, we turn to a bunch of warriors/ plus we keep our bone bone bone bones/ up in your main chick when you don’t be home.- Sheik Louch
