I couldn’t imagine trying to raise a seed in these times…imagine having a 12 year old that checks World Star, listens to Souljah Boi and Lil B and wears skinny jeans. Imagine what they’re exposed to…internet didn’t even crack off until I was about 13 or 14 and even then I saw enough to affect me. Now…damn. These kids are getting anything evil on one click. There’s no parental advisory, censorship or anything.

  38. DC (District of Chase) Says:

DC give me a Cliff’s Notes version of what he said…I’m at the workspot

^first thing was he said BIG told him that Sky’s The Limit was his favorite record that he ever recorded. Said he shopped the beat to a lot of emcees and they all passed it up, Jay, LL, a couple other names, and when they were doing the Jr. Mafia album big heard it and told him to hold it for his second album. Big also sang the chorus originally but said that he was gonna get 112 to sing it, but if you listen real close you can hear bigs vocals still on the chorus in the background.

  39. Hopp Says:

Listened to the old songs tape, JihaD times two. Nice showcase. Started kinda slow, didn’t get my hopes up at first. But it did the trick.

And I also praise the beat selection. Not that I was feeling most of it, but I understood the intention behind it for the most part.

Next stop is that EP …

^Then he said basically, that there are so many dj’s now that the bad djs outweigh the good djs. And that now a days anyone can “DJ”, but a good dj is the type of person that can move the crowd from the beginning of a party to the end, with a constant upward momentum build. A good dj can also influence people to like music that they may not have heard before.

Appreciate you taking the time out to listen. Yea, that was bunch of older songs I did when I was just getting into recording.

@Don- yea, all that loud yelling and shitty flows was kinda funny style. I guess I’m just to philly shit… Nigga tried battling like that in PA or up north, they woulda got laughed at.
