the girls like him, the kids love to say his name, and most of the dudes wanna punch him in his fuckin face…

thats the recipe for commercial success… Wacka Flocka Flame is putting up W’s right now …

Don’t tell me you’ve gone from Drake to Flocka. Sheeit.

the carter 3 spawned atleast 5 radio hits, no albums do that now, shit thats incredible , u have to be kidding me if that shit was overated, over 3million copies sold and on top of that the features dont take away from waynes starlight, carter 3 was a classic and should be left as the end of triolgy
    ———————————————

It’s not that great a trilogy, although he got better on each consecutive record. I wouldn’t mind a Carter IV. But he wont top his fame/respect from Carter 3.

Also, BP3 has spawned as many big hits as Carter 3. It’s just BP3’s hits involved Jay being pretty much unnoticeable on his own songs. Beats and hook singers carried those singles.

Wayne on the other hand could turn a song like A Milli into a top 5 hit. That’s how you know your a commercial force. That’s why pop singers would rather have Wayne on their song than Jay.

Glad I’m not the only one who thought Dr. Carter was the best song on the album. Good concept for a song, and beat, and of course the flow was on point.

Well what do ya know, a lot of people like Carter 3. For those of you who haven’t, I can’t say enough good things about Da Drought 3. It get’s way more repeat listens than Carter 3, from me.

Of all the guys capable of selling more than Gold, Wayne has the worst beats. He’s also the guy capable of selling the most overall. Just saying. This guy has a more distinctive and commanding flow than any big name rapper. You recognize his voice on a track so easily.

That’s off of Drought is Over 2 IIRC, which was the other tape I recommended. So dope songs leaked on that track, which is why Wayne was pissed at that DJ. He probably wanted La La to be on the Carter 3 but had the use the Busta and Brisco song instead.

Those dudes you see in WSHH videos. Like Soujia Girl. Those people still pay for records, unfortunately they prefer Flocka’s stuff.

He and the other guys [Gucci, OJ] have their charm, though. Sometimes ignorant shit like that is what the time calls for. Like watching Flavour of Love, or Jersey Shore.

    Da fuck?

Yeah it was a nice rhyme. And crowd was live…its rare to see that crowd that live…the crowd at EOW is mainly rappers waiting their turn to spit and they often show no energy to other performers. So this was cool.
