    A person involved in the talks told The New York Times the Knicks have offered Stoudemire a five-year, $100 million deal — the maximum allowed — and are waiting to talk to him in person to complete the deal, which can’t be signed until July 8 at the earliest. The meeting could come as soon as Sunday, The Times reported.

    CHICAGO — Dwyane Wade spent Friday morning at a downtown Chicago hotel hearing a pitch from the New York Knicks, the third team in two days hoping to pull one of free agency’s top players away from the Miami Heat.

    Wade

    “It was a good meeting, a real good meeting,” Wade said afterward. The meeting that lasted about 2 hours, 15 minutes. “I will say I’m intrigued.”

    Beforehand, Wade got out of a black Suburban and told reporters he was “in a New York state of mind right now, so we’ll see” how it goes.

    Earlier in the day, he tweeted that he got up early for “Another day of pondering my future. … Things are interesting to say the least.”

  13. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

    Cats are using the C word very loosely.

  14. kevfrescura de talco Says:

    i was listening to ‘riding dirty’ in the hood when nobody knew niggas rapped in the south. so when i say this, it’s purely for the sake of the subject matter of ‘near classics’ so………

    underground kingz double LP?

    like i said i’m partial. been listenin to bun and C for a while.

    Not a classic.

    no-sign….word to “Never”, “Burn”, “Boy Meets Girl”, and “The Suicide Note”

  50. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

    Felton, Amar’e & Wade or James?

    Not too shabby.

  51. Jersey*made*me Says:

    Blueprint 3 is definitely gonna be a classic. A classic has memorable songs that tie in to memorable moments,and a few awards to boot.BP3 has all of this.

    Cudi’s hook

    J Cole’s debut

    New York anthem

    Beans inspiration

    Run This Town,Kanye’s bodying of that

    Forever Young’s crossover appeal

    World Tour

    And a few more things,if that’s not classic tell me what album has done as much. I’ll certainly wait.

  52. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

    no-sign….word to “Never”, “Burn”, “Boy Meets Girl”, and “The Suicide Note”
    ============================================
    Now name the other standouts on that “Classic” album.

    I dug the shit out of MADE, but it doesn’t hold up to The Diary or The Fix.

  53. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

    Blueprint 3 is definitely gonna be a classic.

    Only one of your reasons that’s worth acknowledging is having a New York anthem.

    Forever Young’s crossover appeal
    ========================
    LMAO

    J Cole’s debut
    ===========
    This is predicated on that kid becoming a star, which seems less likely every day

    I would expose your other points but why bother?

    You know just like I do BP3 ain’t it.

    Mobb Deep – Murda Muzik

  57. SilkCityP Says:

    Felton, Amar’e & Wade or James?

    Not too shabby.

    ^^^

    That’s what I was thinking… as much scrutiny that the Knicks have gotten through this whole free agency, they are very smart for pretty much landing the 1st deal with Amar’e… I don’t where Rafer Alston is at right now… but that would be an ideal backup PG to Felton as well… The Knicks are gonna be better than ppl think, regardless of whether or not they land LeBron or Wade… b/c if they don’t land 1 of them, they will get Melo!
