What did you expect? Funny how things turn out, just 2 years ago 50 was shitting on Def Jam and their artist daily.

Yeah its on there. When they sent me the cd and the press release though, the tracklist on the paper said there were 2 songs with Wiz on there but there isn’t. I don’t know what the deal is with that, i need to ask the Def Jam folks b/c i was kind of surprised he doesnt have a feature on the album.

Truth be told, Def Jam has not created a star since Jazy left, say what you will, but The Dream, Neyo, Rhianna, Rick Ross and Jeezy was all under Jayz term, is there one new artist they have created since than??

Sha $$ is a smart cat and he’s already proven that he’s willin to take a chance on talent (see:K.R.I.T). I hope he does get 50 over there and around some good creative energy…. G_unit, like it or not, put out some of the best rap music of the (early part of) the last decade, but 50 and co. isolated himself/themselves with the fuck ’em all attitude and kinda prevented growth with and outside of that existing structure…. Sha sees the bigger picture but still has that loyalty. Any cunt that denies the product the unit put out circa 02-05 knocks (and has aged well too) is a fool. 50 and Banks can still make good music, 50 just needs more creative input and less yes men. That “Yeah!” and growlin shit he’s been doing on record lately needs to stop…. seriously. Oh and G-unit needs to recruit some new talent….preferably Freddie Gibbs.

“if they hate let em hate & watch the money pile up”

  18. Smear Says:

If Sha managed to pull Killa and 50 to the label (and collaborate) that would be incredible. The comedy-gold-shit-talkin alone would be worth the price of an album. LOL. Then DefJam need to find a way to get outta that fuctup Shyne deal (dude sounds like Game on morph) Then grab VADO, put him Banks and Loso on the same jawn. JustBlaze on the boards and you’d have yaslf some NewYawk damage (maybe get the rights to Saigon’s GSNT thrown into the deal in exchange for…um…. Oh ikno! that one piece of vintage ‘Lo that Just hasn’t got ahold of yet and has been fiending for! and a full set of the original transformers figurines-mint condition)
Or maybe the world would just implode.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed but it’s 2010. And the WHOLE scene is different. Drake did in one week (with a leak). What BISD did total (436,000)! If Interscope/Dre and them aren’t fighting to keep him, why would you be pressed to sign him AFTER he tried to shit on all your marquee rap artist (‘Ye, Nas & Rawse).

‘Ye’s contract is about up, Nas is in the building, Rawse is in the building and Irv Gotti (remember him) is overseeing the Shyne project. Fif (INTERSCOPE) Jackson BURNED alot of bridges talking shit to sell them lil bit of records.

  20. Macson Escobar Says:

PROBABLY Lloyd Banks, possibly Tony Yayo, and maybe even Curtis himself… Possibly TonyYayo cuz fiddy doesnt want to put him on the side
so it will be probably a close to get a deal wit defjam !

but yayo ain’t really smart, he needs an indie label.
    g-unit/independentlabel to release his somophore
cuz he wont sell a lot but he will get more doe
from it with an indie release. be smart tony

fiddy needs a label to leave interscope
but a new major record deals with :
concert and tour management in it
360 deals or some… cuz he wont
have a 100 millie deal like jigga
