Video: Nas x Damian Marley x DJ Skee

DJ Skee catches up with Gnozir and Jr. Gong at KIIS FM. They talk Distant Relatives, recording sessions, the similarities between rap and reggae and more. Seriously though, I’ve had enough of these guys faces. I think this is the last interview with them that I’ll be posting. Ok, you guys made an album together, how novel. Now, it’s been almost 10 years since Stillmatic, aren’t we about due for another really great Nas album?

Part 2 after the jump.

Yo On some real Shit. Nas Hatred is like a Phenomenon . Im not even exaggerating… I ve Never seen anyone Hated so much for no apparent reason.

Who else in Hip Hop has had more substance in their Music with their last two offerings?

Im Not tired about hearing about Distant Relatives or the Album. Im tired of hearing these same tired questions.

Q.What made you want to do an Album together…
    Q. Why’d you call it Distant Relatives
    Q. What new artist are You feeling

    Blah Blah

You gotta know those questions have been answered before.

    Hip Hop journalism is whack.

Imma have to add the chrous here and say we’ve had at least couple of great Nas albums since Stillmatic (God Son and Untitled). I guess if you wanna throw in Lost Tapes and Distant Relative. But GS and the negro album were pretty dope.

so let me get this right, you’re a hip-hop blogger and feel that Nas hasn’t put out quality material in almost 10 years since Stillmatic? so you’re saying God’s Son was garbage?! SD, HHID, Nigger, Distant Relatives?! C’mon son. you can’t be serious. Like someone else said in their comments, you need to be mad at these corny ass interviewers. I mean these fucking morons look like they don’t even do their homework before they interview artists. Every fucking interview I see, a different dickhead is asking them the same questions like “What was it like working with each other? Whos idea was it to do this album? blah blah blah. Interviewers need to step their fucking games up.
