Video: Kanye Works on a New Beat

Here is what appears to be footage of Kanye, with Amber looking on, working on a beat in some remote studio somewhere in the South Pacific. Apparently that’s a sample of a song from the musical Wicked? Never saw it.

So could this beat be intended for Good Ass Job? I’d say there’s probably a good ass chance that it might. Although, since when does this guy allow this type of shit to get out? I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this has disappeared from Youtube by tomorrow.

a fucking kid with a bootleg copy of fruity loop could’ve produced ‘OVER” before e went to school…it’s overly simplistic

I ain’t no studio engineer but it doesn’t sound simplistic to me.
I’d be glad to get schooled (no hot for teacher)

i make dance music (i.e. stronger) , that’s why electro-genre producers are kinda partial to hip-hop producers, because making hip-hip is like stacking legos..easy VERY EASY. like can be done in literal minutes.

all you’re doing is taking someone else’s COMPOSED work and dropping a snare and kick behind it.

TIMBERLAND and PHARELL are no additives that’s why they can charge 1million dollars for a single beat.

that’s like one of the parts of hip hop we all know but ignore it just to not make ourselves sad.
but i still think it’s innovative to flip a sample.
RZA tried to do the whole original production by bands thing on 8 diagrams but Rae & Ghost shot that down. SMH @ them but they still cool.

    No arguement.

It takes talent to sample the right part of the song, as not everyone samples the hooks of the song a la Diddy’s production team

The only good part of the over beat is the hook too. When it switches to the verses its almost unlistenable. The beat is wack at that part and so are the lyrics.

But the hook is a monster.
