yeah rey, i think if he got another concept, it’d fit himbetter, maybe it focuses him.
I almost think maybe, just maybe, he listens to much ot the (wrong type of) critics and people. so hes like “yeah i can do that too”

him and ALC, would prob make some magic. straight crazy, throw evidence on for a song about LA, throw Nas on for a song about their changing worlds or their rap mentors, etc… what if he did a BIG/PAC style album…
possibilitie are endless, I like theready to die approach you suggested tho.

Also, doesnt everoyne know a local cat in their area who can SPIT BARS better than drake. i know i do…

yeah i know. he’s above the clouds w/guru and the rest of the untimelies.

but when he was HERE, miles ahead of them dudes in chopped sampling.

in rza case, dilla trumps him as a rapper.

I was gonna listen, but to be honest, i dont think id like him, or maybe hes just not worth “the time”

i almost feel bad for rappers who are good but just that, good. they will forever be stuck and with just a little bit more, coulda been bigger. its wild.

Shout out to my old love for Saigon and Papoose
i still need to listen to more Emilio Rojas, but one time i did, he was good, but …

  13. Rey Says:

@ mcb– yeah, i agree. i think jayceon just genuinely loves rap and misses that ‘94-’03 vibe and he’s paying tribute. his style doesn’t fit well with the ‘01-’03 stuff. he’s interesting tho’, gotta give him that. *nh*
