Favourite hiphop beat of all time?
Right now for me its tied between both ‘It Must Be Me’ By The Game and ‘Aint No Doubt About It’ By The Game (feat Justin Timberlake). Both beats produced by Pharrell. R.E.D album is going to be a classic man. Those 2 singles are already classics,,and have some of the hottest beats ive heard in my life..imagine what the rest of the album has in store for us
Pharrell is a genuis, and lets not forget Dre is on the album too…

hiphop has evolved. its more mature now. its not stuck in a little bubble of MPCs, samples and cocaine raps. All genres evolve with time. Hiphop is starting to understand its full potetential as these new artists encorporate new styles such as Rock, Electo-Pop etc. The ENERGY still Hip-Hop, but as we all know, energy is never destoryed, it continually transforms into new forms. B.O.B, Drake, Cudi are all as Hip-Hop as Gangstarr/Nas were. Gangstarr/Nas were talking to the youth of that time, who could relate to their raps. Kids these days don’t relate to that shit anymore. Times have changed. It’s cool to be a nerd. It’s uncool to be a 30 year old bum selling drugs. If Nas was an upcomming rapper now, he would be singing on his hooks and rapping about relationships.
