The Roots feat. John Legend – Doin It Again

the-roots-doin-it-again

Samples John Legend’s “Again” (when you’d think they could have simply gotten him to re-recorded his vocals – although I know that defeats the purpose.) This means fans will have to wait for “The Fire” on the new Roots album to really hear what they’ve been working on together recently.

Emphatic no-sign. Unfortunately, we sell all types of drugs waaaaaay better than whites. Except maybe meth, but that’s just because most of us arent in an area to make a mint off of it. I’ve utilized drug dealers of both races, whites tend to be less consistent on a couple different levels.

When I first heard Pill, to me he sounded like a Killer Mike/TI combo. That was on Trap Goes Ham and one of those collabs with Freddy Gibbs. But everything I’ve heard from him since had been pretty uninspired.

^Not true. There’s an old head out here in DMV that sells weed for a living. Says he pulls in about 50k annually. He has a steady stream of regular clientele and he keeps his shit on the low. Shit works for some people

truth, i always call my dude a day or two ahead of time. putting in work as a consumer.
but yeah i mean i think its more the first kid might do it (THIS IS NOT TRUE ALWAYS OR EVEN AT ALL JUST SAYING FROM YOUR POV) to smoke for free or for a little scratch, while a dude who is reupping constantly is trying to make a bit more money at it.
