    Years ago I had an idea to insert myself into famous hiphop album covers and photos for my own project, and one of the shots would have been me in the “traitor” spot. Seemed funny at the time.

    ^ there are loads of new orleans reference in jay’s rhymes. you’d have to be from there to get most of them…rest assured, unless someone from NY spent some time in new orleans, there’s no way they would insert half the NOLA reference jay slides in his rhymes. word to “get the gat, get the gat was a popular phrase”. ha.
