TiRon – 60901 (prod. Oddisee)

tiron-mstrd

An unfinished version of this popped up earlier, which was great but I was asked not to post it. TiRon’s people just sent this through though. He’s representing his zip code on this one and it’s off that Mustard mixtape which was supposed to drop in early March.

The downfall of hip hop can be closely matched to the lack of appreciation for The Wu Tang Clan.

I mean, are you seriously asking for tips on Wu albums?

    RIP ODB

^diddy sabotaged him on that record. 2 minutes of shit talking? more people remember that than Jay even being on the record.

How can a random song floating around the internet, that’s not even attached to a project flop?

could ANYTHING achieve the “exhibit” buzz?
Seriously those are the most gassed songs in the history of the Internet.

  12. RNC Chairman Michael Steele Says:

I actually liked the shit talking for some reason. And you’re right, it was more memorable than Jay’s verses anyway. But I always thought JayE was overrated as a lyricist anyway.

And the focus on lyrics makes him underrated when it comes to flow. He’s really good at making multisyllabic rhymes sound natural, and making words that don’t normally rhyme, rhyme.

Internet buzz is all JayE ever had. The Ghost of Christopher Wallace ain’t got no buzz. It’s not floating around online as much as Exhibit C or A did, haha.

And people are starting to notice he’s not really THAT amazing [he’s pretty good, though].
