damn, i guess if those are the top 10 i guess that makes me 1-year vet status. that’s still nub.

anyway, i like how all these dudes are sayin j. cole won’t drop or that he’s doing wale numbers? first off, if you want to know why wale did 30k, go type his name in google images. that’s sad, but kind of how it works with the industry these days.

    j. cole seems pretty serious about this rap thing.

    J. Cole just doesn’t appeal to the people who buy records. Not like that many people do buy them anymore, but B.o.B. blew up in the mainstream and didn’t need to sell out.

  3. SeniorCivilian Says:

    Who is this?

  4. Bx Blue Says:

Yo, I mentioned Herb McGruff being underrated the other day so I went back and listened to Destined to Be. Holy Shit, Ma$e had some crazy pause-worthy lyrics on that shit. Check out this opening line from the pastor “Yo I don’t know you, but the way you frontin make me wanna blow you”
Then he is talkin shit at the beginning of another song and says this “I’m the type that if I get locked up I don’t even want to get bailed out. Let me stay in there so I can get aquainted with niggas”

    WTF?

  5. Camelot Says:

All J. Cole needs is that ON TV performance. Notice that Drake didn’t really start pushing the album (multiple interviews, song titles, features, 2 leaks, and a video all in about 5-6 weeks) until after the grammy performance.

    Example:
Jay-Z performs at the NBA Finals with Cole as his guest MC and hype man (sorry Bleek) Jay drops On To The Next One to commemorate the championship itself, then segues into the closing ‘A Star Is Born” to nod towards the MVP Award.

And who just happens to have a little 16-bar last verse on that joint?
