what is 50’s best mixtape tho?

  5. the real truth Says:

As a long time fan of indie music that album was garbage. That album only had three good songs and plus the lonnie narrations made it suck even more.

    ^
The narrations are skippable i agree..but its just one of those albums to me that dropped at a perfect time..Soundtrack to my Life, Simple As…, My World, Hyyer, Day N Nite, Sky Might Fall all are crack and the rest grew on me (II) later on

  6. Mook Says:

All this 50 cent GRODT talk giving me a headache arghhhhh can we please talk about some quality rappers like Waka Flocka sheesh.

  7. Rey Says:

I’m no Curtis fan, but his old music had a different energy to it, his delivery.. Even post-accident, it just sounded better, like an event, ya know?

I don’t know if it’s cuz he had so much time to work on that first album, really commit the lyrics to memory and devote a lot of time to the delivery…

…but from Massacre on it just sounds like he’s reading off the paper, just trying to get thru the take without really using inflections or any kind of passion (nh) in his delivery.

My guess is he got caught up running the empire that he just didn’t have the time to be in the studio like that, so he rushed ‘em out. Thoughts?

  8. kevfrescura de talco Says:

you don’t have to be popular to have haters. you could keep doing something someone doesn’t like and be hated. in your case fam you keep rhyming.

    ^^
There are some tracks on The Massacre where it still sounds like he had it, but I agree for the most part. It was the movie soundtrack where he seemed to completely lose the “it” that made him so dope in the first place.

  16. cOLD Says:

Yo slow doe is corner bending music.

  17. Harlem World Says:

    haters = envious, jealous people
realists = people who will tell you shit is wack for your own good

    ^^
Or the success made him arrogant and he felt like whatever he rapped on would be instant crack status regardless of how half assed the creation of it was. Your theory works too tho.

  21. Tong Po Flo Says:

The last good Kidz In The Hall song was Driving Down The Block, anything after that nahnahnahnahnah

  22. Joe 88 Says:

    Thoughts?

^he got rich and stop trying. When your main objective behind rapping is to become rich, that fire leaves once you reach that goal. I think what happen to fiddy would and could happen to anybody going from a street dealer to a millionaire in the same year.
