    =============================
You heard The Ghost Of Rich Porter mixtape?

    He IS desperate.

Cam is doing the right thing though. Fuck that nigga. Cam needs to get his shit popping like it should be and then maybe, just maybe, he’ll show Jimmy some pity and let him do the hook on a Vado track.

Quietly, Cam is waiting for Juelz to brick before he extends any kind of hand to those ingrates. He just wants the world to see how those snakes fare without him.

  5. Shooter Says:

Nas, Jay Elec, Pete Rock collabo would be crazy

  6. nestle snipes Says:

Cam only gets it poppin in 2003/2004. tell that nigga to build a time machine in Harlem.

Other than that. He’s a lost cause.

Tell him to go to E1/Koch. or whatever.

No one spends major money on Cam.

  7. nestle snipes Says:

Hip Hop / Rap has been boring.

Drake basically has it on life support.

50 Cent needs to do something. He’s too quiet.

  19. landlord Says:

Quietly, Cam is waiting for Juelz to brick

    ——-

“What The Game’s Been Missin” may have made him a couple dollars, but that was a brick for sure… proof is in the fact that he been 0 for everything, since then …

  20. landlord Says:

Juelz is like the Eddy Curry of hiphop… all that natural talent but no results after his frist couple years, to show for it… what a waste…

“From Me To You” still sounds epic ..

    so does DipImmunity 1…

    Fuck your life nigga.

The only reason why NY rap is floundering is because the labels won’t push the talent that’s here and the rest of the country hates NY so much, they tune most of our artists out.

People are happy with dumbed down “bamma” music.

    But this to shall pass.

  23. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

    Too > To

  24. landlord Says:

    hiphop from 1998 – 2003 > the 80’s and 90’s …

    especially the beats …

  25. RNC Chairman Michael Steele Says:

Southern rappers know how to make FUN music better than New York rappers it seems.

People want to act like rap takes the forefront in hip hop music [yes, I said “hip hop music”], but really you can pretty much point to any major rappers/rap trends getting popular and see a shift in production that happened first. Southern rappers are better at sounding good over the beats that are cool right now.

50 Cent used to be a beast at singing hooks over the kind of beats that were popular in the early 00s. Right now, that role goes to some guy named Drake.

Sounding good over whatever kind of beats are popular. It’s really that simple.

Cookie cutter derivative bullshit floods the radio/video outlets.

That’s why even though Dre is a fucking liar, I still look forward to Detox cause I know he’s gonna innovate instead of replicate.

The southern producers are content to make the same beat a million times…as long as they get paid.

Maino made a really good album though.

And these days,”talent” means the artist has a marketable image/gimmick.

It has nothing to do with skill as an MC.

  59. AmpGeez a.k.a. Smoke Greene Says:

Juelz, Budden, Vado, Lloyd Banks, Maino, The Kid Daytona, Corey Gunz, Charles Hamilton…these cats are rappers in that traditional NY lane…and that’s why they can’t really breakout.

  60. 911 Says:

@land, Re: the contrails, there are some planes clearly dispersing something, the end goal is more the weight of the story imo.

The Last Goood Rapper from NY? Duo Live
But What about the last good rapper from anywhere in the US? Dont act like any other region is the New Bedding place for Great talent. Theres less than a Handful of new Good MC.

And Just cause Labels havent signed anybody from NY doesnt mean its void of talent.

I have talent ppl I know have talent.. I doubt I will ever get on..Im not exactly chasing it.. Who wants to be a rapper for real.. Its almost embarrassing to call yourself a rapper with the garbage that they play.

I’ll just work and put out shit independently if I feel like it.
