While you’re here Charles Oakley, do you have any rare/unreleased DOOM/Wu-Tang in the same vein as that Nas jawn you posted a while ago? I know I’m asking a lot though.

Paper Trail was souless….other than What’s Up, What’s Haapnin’ it was cookie cutter.

This was a crock of shit if I’ve ever seen some.

PT was great. Niggas like to write it off because it was commercially successful but it was really a conscious LP in a shiny disguise (Rigz).

    ^^
No, I like to write it off because it wasn’t great. To each their own, but I expected more depth from TIP. Give those beats to the 20 best rappers in the game and you’d likely get much better results….

BTW 9 months later BP3 has not aged greatly….

Relationships are like rain forests, you can only chop it up for so long before you’re left standing on a field of dirt, getting yelled at.

By the time it’s too late all you see is cougars.

  20. Charles Oakley Says:

TI – You Aint Missin Nothin

I like this track a lot, and the flow on Dead and Gone was impressive, but overall I found the album boring.

  21. D_Block_4_Life Says:

but I expected more depth from TIP
    ^
“Ready for Whatever” (explaining the whole fiasco)
“Live Your Life” ( you do know that this was a conscious song right?)
“No Matter What” (most in depth song TI has ever made)
    “Slide Show” (reflective as shit)
    “Dead and Gone” (you serious?)

  22. D_Block_4_Life Says:

    @ Oak

I mean, hey, if you found it boring then that’s the end of the convo.

  23. baby jesus Says:

jorge is the only nigga in life that stans for papertrail

  24. D_Block_4_Life Says:

jorge is the only nigga in life that stans for papertrail

    Lol…you probably right…i really love that LP…

  25. D_Block_4_Life Says:

My issue is, niggas want artist to make the music they like forever, just for them. Like, that’s really not practical. Evolution is this here rap game is imperative and crucial. (ie Kanye, Ross, Wayne, Jay, Jeezy). TI was exhausted musically until he made PT…his legal woes were certainly a blessing in disguise…i mean, it was “i’m going through something so it’s gonna manifest through this music 101″…

  26. koa29 Says:

No Matter What was pretty dope too. Live Your Life was corny tho, beat was nice

  27. D_Block_4_Life Says:

    Just my thoughts…

    Daps Baby Jesus and Oak

*cues up Super High off that brown*

This album was like the musical version of his mTV show too me, seemed contrived. And I cant accept a song as conscious when rihanna is on the hook. TI is simply uninteresting to me. I’ve never been that huge of fan. I thought the album was cool, but when my younger sister has a higher play count on her itunes for an album than I do it makes me question it, shiny disguise or not

    End of the story then.

oh stop it you freaking liberal minded wuss

  33. D_Block_4_Life Says:

On a more stanniard note, Super High >

What you think Baby Jesus, Mag > Super High? Mafia 1 > Mafia 2 or??

  34. Charles Oakley Says:

Again, I didn’t dislike it, I just had low expectations that were slightly exceeded. If I can be honest, my favorite track was probably Whatever You Like, which is probably directly related to the fact I only heard it come on when I was around females. I dont know if it is his rhyme scheme or wordplay, but TI just never really caught my attention outside of a couple tracks off of each album.
    *daps*

oh, but Young La ft. TI – Aint I Remix is bamma gold….

Was A Milli even a real beat tho? lol

im not nearly the “hater” i seem like… i just think music listeners/fans/consumers need to demand a higher standard of artistic quality and stop settling for bullshit … make these coons, bammas and program directors and label heads be held accountable for this dramatic increase in garbage perpetrating as art …

  40. Charles Oakley Says:

TI – doin my job >>

actually i do like quite a few TI songs, just not any entire albums

super high is kind of ridiculous, and is on par with cigar music. IMO MM2> MM1, but realllllyyyy close. i think i can say without hesitation that Teflon Don will be better than DTR, and thats kinda scary.

    Super High > Magnificent

    and its not close

  44. Charles Oakley Says:

Alright, the six pack is done. See you nahggers on the flip side. Don’t drink and drive.

  45. baby jesus Says:

and saying super high = cigar music is saying a whole lot, imo.

  46. Black Brokaw Says:
