i would love to be a partner in an architecture firm but i’m scared to death of getting sued because of one of the other partners.

you lose and they’ll come after your assets. turn your pockets inside out and everything.

^ how will you lose, what can happen to cause this?

    ^^
well like you know, with partners you depend upon one another a lot, so if one decides to spearhead a project or make an investment on something and it goes sour, they’re putting the firms name on the line.

what the courts do is compare the job your firm did to the sort of common or average performance another firm or group of firms would have under similar conditions in that location [lets say Atlanta, for instance]… if they it shows that your firm performed below the said standard/average performance then whoever is suing you effectively wins the lawsuit. and your rep is everything in business.

so not only can you lose a lot of money and possibly possessions, depending on the size of the lawsuit, but you can also scare off potential clients.

Theophilus is from BK. Dude has a good mixtape out and songs somewhere in the internet. Not gonna argue with anybody on here since most of you are too stubborn and stuck in the last two decades, bitching about Hip Hop, and making this site look like nahperezhiltonright.com with your homophobe comments to dudes who aren’t even gay and making yourself look like morons.

    ^
lmao, let me guess……you fuckin that nigga right? (n)

Complex: So explain what we can expect off I Want You. How is it going to differ from Jam! and This Charming Mixtape?

Theophilus London: Well Jam! and This Charming Mixtape was kinda similar but you know like you can tell I went through some growth between those projects. And it’s the same with this, you can tell I was in a different place musically when I wrote all these songs six months ago. I can’t wait to share the mixtape with the fans and move on to the next. But on I Want You I’m definitely rapping a lot more so you can expect that.

Complex: Is the title inspired by Marvin Gaye?

Theophilus London: Yeah, the title is influenced by Marvin Gaye. And so is a lot of the mixtape. When I was in Germany a friend of mine sent me a Marvin Gaye documentary and it just inspired me to work on the whole mixtape and call it I Want You.

^actually G7 I just got finished listening to necessary evils. He puts words together lovely, but he’s not taking ownership of the song… It’s like he’s scared of the beat or someshit. Hip Hop is not for the passive hearted nigga.

    1. The ‘T.R.O.Y.’ controversy – Having spoken to both parties involved, I refuse to indulge this petty feud any further. Even if Large Professor’s dear old mother gave him the Tom Scott record for his 16th birthday and Pete faked an asthma attack so that he could steal it while Paulie ran off to call 911, I just don’t care.

    2. Likewise when Pete played ‘Juicy Fruit’ for Biggie. Oh, Puff figured out he could make the same record without paying you? Welcome to the music business, guy.
