Video: Common Talks About Just Wright Mixtapes

Lonnie delivers his latest vlog to clarify that Common presents Just Wright Mixtape: Volume 1 was just music inspired by the movie and, although he only mentioned a Volume 2 in his blog post on Friday, that Volume 3 will contain some new music that he’s been working on with Karriem Riggins (including a remake of “Next Time”) and No I.D.

If carried out properly, this might actually end up to be a pretty clever way to promote the movie – if all these tapes drop before/around the movie’s release date… so maybe I spoke too soon on Friday. We’ll see.
