i’m sorry but jae millz is not seeing pill
    ======================
Two different kind of rappers. But Millz can do what Pill does (as far as writing introspective, heartfelt rhymes).

I’ve yet to see if Pill can make a song that will go past the Mason/Dixon.

Head to head (nh), Pill takes an L every time.

    ^^^

Where are these Introspective Millz songs? All I heard was the same basic shit he was spittin at Ness years ago, which is still the highlight of his career. NH, but Pill is actually dope, and I would give Pill a better chance to make a “commercial” song over Jae Millz, who has had 10 years and plenty of chances to do so… wasn’t that nigga signed to Universal at one point?

  7. Bricktop Says:

    btw, T-Rex>>>>J. Millz.

J.Millz doesn’t exactly suck, but it seems like he’s always thought a little too highly of himself. he’s a B- student. at best.

    Fresh Huxtable Says:

If you can get on a winning team, you might just want to roll with that.

    ______

What you sayin makes sense but idk… I guess it’s cuz I never been a coattail ridin nigga (no shots). Like them lame ass dudes that used to hang around the most popular nigga(s) in high school, laughin at all they jokes and shit just to look “cool” and get bitches, smh. I’d rather be a Karl Malone or a Pat Ewing than a D-Fisher…

    Pride FTW

  9. Charles Oakley Says:

no, i co-sign budden, lameness aside, dude is a beast

  10. D_Block_4_Life Says:

    cool

  11. Fresh Huxtable Says:

@Amp–I didn’t think he had any albums, but you know, I couldn’t be sure. In that case, YM was a good move for him.

@Skinny–I see what you’re saying, but if you’re Derrick Fisher, it doesn’t matter because you just don’t have star potential. If you’re Karl Malone or Ewing, yeah, you could have potentially won a championship. But if you’re on a team and D. Fish is your best player, you might as well be this year’s NJ Nets. Jae Mills was never going to be a star on his own. He might be a solid team player though, and he’s showing this by keeping YM buzzing while Wayne is locked up. And I say this as a person who never heard a Millz song and was unimpressed by his verse on Every Girl (that was him, right?)

  12. Charles Oakley Says:

    juelz santana > mills

  13. Charles Oakley Says:

    banks > mills

  14. Charles Oakley Says:

    canibus > mills

  19. D_Block_4_Life Says:

And Santanas success aside, he is not nicer than Millz.

  20. Fresh Huxtable Says:

@Bricktop (*daps*): TX is different from the rest of the south. For whatever reason, Texas just always mirrors what Cali does…even drugs, styles, and slang that start in Cali go to TX next. I don’t think you can say that the rest of the South necessarily felt that way at that time. So since Texas is bascially Country Cali 2 years after the fact they ended up basically being West Coast riders by proxy. Add that to the fact that most southern cats are Tupac fans anyway, and Texas is a perfect storm for being anti NY.

  21. D_Block_4_Life Says:

    Go in Nov

  22. kufi-Smacks Says:

  32. southlondon Says:

    general mills>>>>>> jae millz

  33. Youn Says:

    Mims>>>millz

    Yeah I said it

  34. Fresh Huxtable Says:

Man, to add to my earlier stream of consciousness, where is Ness? He was probably the most overall talented member of Da Band in terms of a combination of both talent and focus. Some of those other cats had star power potential but they couldn’t get their minds right.

No shots, but I knew Da Band was destined for failure because in a band, a few of ya’ll at least gotta play instruments for it to be legitimately called a band.

Fred and Choppa could’ve made it, and Dylan too. Actually, that squad had potential to be basically the Young Money of the year 2000.

  35. kufi-Smacks Says:

Man what happend to The cats that used to rap with CNN… now them nigglets had skillz…

  36. Skinny Says:

  38. Skinny Says:

    ^^^^^^
since BIG died and Mase retired…Puff hasn’t really pushed a rapper on Badboy…he just put out these Danity Kane broads out and a couple other pop groups…but for the most part the only artist that gonna get serious promotion is Puff with his albums….

and for its worth Dylan has gotten a few post on this site….i don’t know if you can REALLY call that relevant but i don’t think Ness who is signed to Badboy can say as much

  40. Bricktop Says:

    @Fresh: very well.

I don’t give a fuck REDMAN is number 1 on my list. Reds albums always bang, his guest appearances always comes sharp, his flow is hard and on beat (unlike that bum eminem), Reds metaphores are always original.

When Reds album comes out I might buy two, his rap albums are honestly the only ones I actually buy these days the rest I cop the bootleg.
