Video: CyHi Da Prynce Discusses Kanye Co-Sign

CyHi Da Prynce speaks to Decatur Dan about getting a co-sign from Kanye West on his blog and not even knowing about the blog to begin with.  It seemed a bit suspicious that Kanye would co-sign a (Def Jam) artist like that off the strength of one guest verse and one intro video, but it ultimately led to Prynce getting magazine and radio interviews, as well as a few guest verses, and who could be mad at that.

I never suffered through hair brushing.

I never really brushed my hair. Just the hairline.

When my hair is slightly damp I go to sleep and the waves are just right.

It’s from the way my head would lay on the pillow. This was part of my “program”. . . and still is to this day.

^As a white boy, this (maybe along with anything remotely racist) is a subject I will never broach on a rap blog. My only experience with black people’s hair care is from Malcolm X.

Nah, a well calibrated brush was enough.

I don’t do this anymore. Though I have retained many if not all of the techniques that I have developed over the years.

. . .”Standards & Practices” if you will.
