Regular people really don’t know what they’re talking about though. A woman on C-Span got sonned last night by the host because she was OUTRAGED that this was passing and it’s going to do irreperable damage to this country and she’s so scared for our future. His question?

“Madam, do you have health care?”

    “Well, yes I do…through my husband’s job…”

RIGHT THERE, SHE LOST! People in this country are about 3 things.

    1. Getting Hungry.
    2. Getting Theirs
    3. Keeping others from getting theirs.

Shits disgusting when these idiotic high school dropouts listen to a few minutes of Glenn Beck a week and they automatically have more knowledge about how Government works than anyone.

    –comment of the day nominee

  2. Beezy Says:

You’re talking about a piece of legislation from the 70s. At least use the Stupak-Pitts amendment from last year, even though that doesn’t count cause it’s been left of the current bill.

^Right but its still in effect…so it doesn’t matter when it was written.

Your not very knowledgable for someone who portends to be.

The new bill indirectly allows for funding of abortions if you’re poor enough. It’s an entirely new healthcare bill, you can through that amendment out the window now, did you even look up the amendment I mentioned? It doesn’t count but it should at least illustrate that the same issues covered by Hyde were being changed.

For someone doing the calling out, you sure haven’t read or watched the news in the past few days. What was the fuss about involving pro-life democrats then? Nothing? GTFO with that. Read a newspaper or something, hell, just look up the name Stupak.

  8. RNC Chairman Michael Steele Says:

It’s very simple, just go to the site of any major newspaper and read about the new bill, it should come up once in the article that the federal funding of abortions is only being stopped by a promise by Obama to issue an executive order blocking it.

Obama can only issue that for as long as his Admin. is in, so it’s not permanent.

The Hyde Amendment? Have you even paid attention to the discussion for the last year?

^most of this is too stupid to respond to.

And why do I care about the Stupak amendment when it wasn’t incorporated into the legislation? Its irrelevant.

    Your seriously clueless dude.

That’s because we’ve allowed lawyers and trust fund babies to influence our politics when in reality they have no idea how everyday society works because that’s outside their bubble. If you get more blue collar representitives who got their hands dirty and know what an honest day’s work looks like, you’d have a MUCH different Government.

    ^This is all false.

You misunderstand the reason for the executive order and whats really in the bill…but I don’t have the time or patience to learn you.

Your point is? There’s too many dumb ass kids running around without supervision that could’ve been solved through abortion. Sounds mean? Wait until that crackbaby hits you upside your head for your iPhone with the Rush Limbaugh ringtone and Glenn Beck app. Some people don’t need to be parents and are too stupid to know to put a condom on. *kanye shrug*

  16. Beezy Says:

yo I’m really getting a kick out of you telling me I don’t read or watch the news.

I used to work for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation – lived and worked in Washington D.C. for a few years doing HEALTH POLICY RESEARCH.

    I read 5 newspapers a day.

Keep talking though, you fucking idiot.

I like how you couldn’t respond to the better points becau7se they were too stupid, but you’ll respond to my throwaway point because it easier, and you had a shot at winning there.

Look him or his amendment up in wikipedia, you can see the very area that the Hyde Amendment covers was an issue with the new bill.

The new bill indirectly fund abortions without that temporary executive order.

The executive order was a cheap way of pleasing everybody that will eventually please no one.

Yes, the order was there to bypass the federal funding of abortions, and it’s no permanent.

If that’s not the case please explain why I’m wrong.

    ^Again, this is false.

The debate was whether the government would subsidize insurance plans on the new exchanges if those plans included abortion. Even though nowhere in the bill did it allow federal funding of abortions, the Pro-Life democrats fought to include very stringent language to essentially reaffirm the Hyde Amendement.

I said indirectly in my original post. Did I not? If it indirectly fund it, that’s still funding.

But I’m glad you recognized what I meant, you just didn’t realize I said INDIRECTLY.
