what revolution is cats gonna start???
    ^^^^
We have been fattened up for the kill. A revolution will only occur when the comfortable are willing to sacrifice their comfort for change. With out that sacrifice the only revolution some think is worth taking part in is an economic one, to achieve an even higher level of comfort. Who will quit their jobs for revolution? Who will live on less as a business owner rather than more as an employee? We have been effectively sedated.

niggers are scared of revolution (c)

    one hunnit.

  18. London Bloke Says:

Ciudad Juarez a city of 1.3 million people just across the US border from El Paso, is at the epicentre of the drug wars that have devastated Mexico over recent years. In the last three years alone, 15,000 people have been murdered, many of them in turf wars between rival drug gans.

Its admirable what those revolutionaries did but it was selfish to their families. Its sorta like a soldier volunteering to go to war and leaving his family.

it’s ruthless right now, son. Mexico needs
to handle this. But I think the government is scared of cartels.

Obama prally listens to Hip-Hop in the mainstream sense, i doubt he’s listening to anything other than that.

or have key officials paid off to look the other way…i can only imagine how corrupt the Mexican government must be considering that narcotics has to be their largest export

I can’t argue that. That’s what makes those cars what they are. Sharpton won’t even let go of the perm even though it might help him be taken more seriously. Thing is, I read Sharpton’s platform when he was running, and he actually had some good ideas. His 10-point plan was solid, as I recall. But I couldn’t vote for him in good conscience. And he knew that.

  29. Van Sertima Says:

Yeah, people have to listen, but MLK, Che, Malcolm, Gandhi, and others died for their causes. They were talkers AND doers, imo.

    ^^^^
Those great men were teachers, talkers, and doers true, but the people mobilized as they mobilized the people. Those great men were inspired by mostly the talkers and the teachers because before them no one mobilized which made them so revolutionary. Point is, teachers and talkers are necessary.

    ^
i think that’s one reason they’re scared. You gotta be brave in Mexico to stand up to cartels. I read that they cut of some dudes head, then played a little boy to ride his bike through down with the dudes decapitated head on the handlebars while playing the gang’s theme songs from some speakers they had hooked up to it. Message sent.

  32. Fresh Huxtable Says:

    ^
no argument there. My point is, a lot of people who talk aren’t down to ride when they can and should, and a lot of talkers are just intellectual pimps and mental masturbators, not true teachers.

  33. Deep North Says:

They need to remove every nigga from this video to make it acceptable to watch again at all.

this. It’s “we need to step up and improve the community” all day, but when it’s time volunteer or donate money, you can hear a pin drop.

    true indeed. non-debatable.

But even in a game of chest the objective is to protect the thinker and the talker. The King (You). All the doers in their respective roles protect the one in the game doing the least but thinking the most. When the thinker and talker is captured, game over.

Obama doesn’t listen to hiphop. Not even Jay, Kanye, or Wayne. That was just some shit he said to Cousin Jeff on BET. He seems to be a ginuine motown head though.

    ^
agreed. But a true King is the servant of the people. The greatest among us is the one who serves the most. I’m not saying the thinker has to do everything, but a man is not worthy of being a leader unless he can honestly say that he’s not asking anyone to do anything that he’s not willing to do himself. And a lot of these so called thinkers, when they come in contact with someone who has a greater vision or more power or more intellect, they don’t say, let me support this guy. Instead, they just hate and
    argue and squabble.

Reluctant cosign, but people BEEN doing that. The entire rap blog world jizzed themselves when Lil’ Wayne dropped some corny mortal kombat punchlines over Show Me What You Got, tombout how he was > Jay and whatnot. *vomits* (nh)

It appears so, but when people mobilize around the talker that talker becomes a revolutionary. Not defending the talker because I’m not really one but they are a necessity in revolution. imo.

  61. Jovi Says:

For a track with so much buzz and multiple versions you’d think they’d be a little more creative with the videos. Banks aint even driving the joints. What’s the point? Feeling the track so/so but I’m saying more effort could have been made for the visuals. Step ya game up!
