speaking of Deck, Wu are supposed to be brothers , man, but they’re foul. Deck put in all that work on CL2, but there are hardly any Wu features on Manifesto. smh.

nah, they didn’t turn him down. but during part of that article on him over at HHDX he was saying that when he was reaching out they weren’t around for him or didn’t take the time. they cool though.

I don’t know, Mobb is one of my favorite groups, but its not like Amerca’s Most Wanted (or whatever that album was called) was really dope or anything. As a group, they appeared to be on their last legs.

If anything, 50 gave them another shot at commercial viability, the music just didnt deliver.

^ the sound of their music changed with that move, 50 influence was so heavy it showed in their music. And I agree commerically they were deaded, but know they are completely dead… Dudes couldnt just did the independent things and sustained keeping their signature sound.

    50 murked Mobb deeps career.
    ^^^^

Nah, they lit their own fire. Mobb’s decision to ride with Mr. Instigator is the reason.

  45. cOLD Says:

^lol, this is a recent revelation… I always said dude was dope, but I don’t think he got the credit he deserved… Still agree somethings missing from his pressence overall tho.

  47. hl Says:

I kinda agree cOLD. But I can’t say they didn’t deserve those checks though. 50 had his heart in the right place, but he didn’t know what to do with mobb. You gotte let hav and p do then (nh) and just hope it catches on.

  48. cOLD Says:

Nah, they lit their own fire. Mobb’s decision to ride with Mr. Instigator is the reason.

^ true, true, I guess they were looking for a life line, to make them relevant again, guess they didnt smell the coffee brewing.

True. My point was that them going against their own grain was not 50’s doing, they had already started tampering with the sound.
