^ he does sound a little bit like em on ‘hold u down’, voice wise, but his voice is a little deeper than em’s. i can’t call it. he’s got dope bars though.

with titles like “illumination” and “shining”, it sounds like he’s trying to get the masonic theorists in an uproar…three minutes shy of 5:00, huh? more like 33 minutes and 3 seconds…LMAO

  13. socookie Says:

He does sound exactly like Eminem in one of those songs with regards to his flow, there’s no question about that. He sounds A LOT like Lupe Fiasco, not just his voice, but his flow and rhymes. I heard a Drake-ish sound coming from a few of the tracks, and then a little touch of Jay-Z too. The shit is tight, with the exception of a few wack attempts at some cross-over shit, but with regards to sound….i guess this may be a convenient alternative to a compilation of 2009-10’s hottest rapper styles/sounds. I’m curious what his work from a few years back sounded like to confirm that he wasn’t biting anyone’s style. The boy might of been on that Drake shit before Drake, but didn’t make it out in time…ain’t no telling.
