  24. why? Says:

It was no secret that Nas and Biggie used to throw subliminal shots at each other in their competition for the N.Y. throne. At this point though, Jay-Z was putting out much more consistent music and was more critically and commercially successful, especially coming off Vol. 2…Hard Knock Life.

Put it this way if swizz beats had tracks to replace justice leagues tracks on all of officers rick’s cd’s his career would be where cassidy’s is now….

JL saved rick ross’s career… though he is the fakest nigga in the game and his raps are shit his beats are fire….

as a Beat Smith i have to give J.L they props….

That Khaled song made me realize how Jay, while still dope, is a shadow of his former self. Esco gotta be the best writer in hiphop still.

  46. why? Says:

I once thought Rawse was Biggie of Miami but I know a lot Floridians exaggerate on their stories. Biggie was living in the NY that most late 80’s and 90’s born kids wish still existed but would be too pussy to live in.

  52. TheCo!!inB Says:

I understand beats are subjective. My taste in beats (as elite) as it is is not going to be the same as Tribe’s or anyone else. But in understanding basics of music that Vet Day beat is a dope sample/composition.

  53. netweight Says:

Swizz Beats is an over rated garbage can beatmaker. For every 2 great beats(maybe) he does a year, he does 200 piece of garbage keyboard preset, identical, bullshhit beats. So over rated, it’s disgusting.

  54. netweight Says:

And the herbs that sweat his bozack are either too young to understand what a hip hop producer is, or are too ignorant and sweat whoever is played nonstop on bullshhit fag stations like hot97 or whatever the ‘hot’ white business man controlled station it is in your area. Clowns.
