Video: Wale – My Sweetie

Wale felt the need to release this video for one of his iTunes bonus songs, which was directed by his homie Tabi Bonney, after getting a bit of backlash from people saying he didn’t have enough “dark” sisters in the video for “Pretty Girls.”

    excuse me? how?

Fantasitc vol 2 came out in 2000. 36 Chamber came out in 1993. How is that not a different era? I dont put slum village in the same era as Wu-Tang, Biggie, and Nas. Its not really the time span, as much as the climate of music.

i think that everytime someone says that some new shit is wack, it is wrong to assume that the only type of shit acceptable to that person is 90’s hip-hop. I am a bonafide drake and kid cudi hater. And I dont even consider the degrassi kid a hip-hop mc. but that dont mean im stuck in the 90’s cuz i dont like teeny bopper shit. Yhere are solid mcs still out here in 2010, new and old.

FV2 is a template for music that was produced in 1997 homie. it’s called ‘fantastic vol. 1.’ which is why if you’re a youngin talkin all this musically genre shit you might wanna do your homework before FACTS come into play. FV2 was for people who thought what a tribe called quest did for NY should echo universally for all times. dilla got it in in the 90’s and gave a mahfuk about industry standards/deadlines.

“i use to rock at 92 bpm’s”(c) dilla

a nigga that dedicated to music surpasses any genre like jimmy hendrix did.

wake up youngins’. theres enough starbucks out there for y’all to wake the fuck up!

I understand what you saying playboy but I’m management at UPS and ain’t no drivers STARTING off at $28 an hour, it aint happening. To bank that much you prolly been there like 15 – 20 years or more. They start at like $15. Still proper pay for a 21 year old if you include benefits, 401K, stock options and possible tuition reimbursement
