grandmaster caz was the tour guide/bus driver in the PBS documentary:

    hushhiphoptours.com/

Hush Tours are the worlds only hip hop experiences that use celebrity talent as the guides for each tour.

Founded in 2000 by Debra Harris, devout hip hop aficionado, ex-talent agent, and New York City licensed tour guide, Ms. Harris pioneers this genre with educational tours and experiences to the critical destinations past and present.

“Our vision for this business was to create an interactive and comprehensive learning experience for all ages and nationalities. I really wanted to share the true inside story of the evolution of this music culture – ultimately helping people to learn what hip hop culture was and continues to be; ‘how’ it all started, where exactly it all began, who the influencers and influences were (and continue to be) that made this music lifestyle grow into what has become a $30 billion dollar business today”, states Ms. Harris.

New York City is known to the world as the birthplace of hip hop. Preserving the roots of hip hop culture means teaching tour participants the true essence of this genre. This is precisely what we have done with our tours and experiences”, finishes Ms. Harris.

Separating the facts from fiction are the actual celebrities from the day; Grandmaster Caz of the original Coldcrush Brothers, Kurtis Blow, Rahiem (The Furious Five) Reggie Reg, Mikey D, Ralph McDaniels, DJ Kool Herc are just some of the legends that tell the story of how hip hop began.

“Using the actual music legends and pioneers of hip hop to tell the story is what is the most interesting aspect of our tours”, states Harris. “While we are a completely professional and licensed business ‘telling’ the story by the insiders who lived it is what makes our experiences truly different.”

  29. cuban b Says:

i respect the fact that saigon has a message in alot of his bars.alot these dudes just yappin bout nothing.sai dumbs it down and will still outrap alot of theses cats.

I almost forgot that Jae Millz is actually decent when he’s not surrounded by Young Money.>>>>

Yeah, now let’s hope Millz can stop impresonating Rick Ross & find his own voice again

  33. belz Says:

Who said Saigon murked Joell? What are you smokin son? not weed.

Sai-Who? Joell is the only even REMOTELY relevant on this record. Jae Millz? my god, he’s been off the map for 2 years now. Not counting his wayne trash.

  34. belz Says:

“saigon is a better lyricist than ortiz”

    *Drops dead instantly*

Stupidest thing ever said on Nahright in the history of Nahright. Holy shit.

  35. jaybo Says:

    joell killed this, no doubt
millz is alright, but i heard better verses from him
    saigon is good also
    all in all, good track

  36. saigiddy Says:

Joell ortiz ate this joint EASILY

  37. LatchKeyKid Says:

I don’t like Joell Ortiz on this song. He sounds so out of place and off beat, compared to everybody else. And WTF is he rapping about? At least make some sense homie. Jae Millz sounded like Rick Ross. In fact, that’s who I thought it was at first. It seems dude’s been hanging arund Wayne and Young Money too long LOL. No diss though. And it was good to hear Saigon actually back to his old self (lmao @ all the hate on Sai when a few years ago y’all was all cheering for the dude, my how fickle people can be). He’s come harder, but job great none the less.

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

So he’s stupid for his personal opinion? Naw bro. Not everybody thinks Joell Ortiz and Joe Budden are some great Hip Hop savior Gods, who spit out of this world space and earth. Like some of y”all be acting. In fact, those dudes are overrated. Yeah they’re good, but there’s a reason they aren’t being embraced by the people. They don’t have it.

Don’t get mad at dude because he feels Saigon is a better lyricist (and Sai’s got some heat in his catolog let’s not act like dude can’t spit the same as the dudes you drool over now). That’s his personal opinion, everybody is not going to agree with you about Joell Ortiz.

Not everybody feels the way you feel about these people. Bottom line, don’t get mad at dude because he gave another rapper props that he likes. He’s not stupid because he feels that way about a certain rapper.

  40. belz! Says:

okay, i could just point out how stupid you sound preaching to me about “how people have opinions” as if i didn’t know that – but instead i’m actually gonna help you out.

    you seem, very very confused.

“I don’t like Joell Ortiz on this song. He sounds so out of place and off beat, compared to everybody else. And WTF is he rapping about?”

WTF is he rapping about? have you heard rap before? you like saigon’s gun/bullshit lyrics but you can’t lend an ear to a rapper who has heart like ortiz? okay.

“the shit i say is so brooklyn like big and jay…
dudes is crazy or ya’ll just buggin out?
still tryin to convince us you’re what a thug about? (damn)
aware that the only thing that you run is mouth?
and who i run with’ll run in your mother’s house, unannounced?”

was that hard to understand? sounded pretty ill to me. go back to listening to saigon. you’re better off.

  41. LatchKeyKid Says:

I’m not stupid or confused. And you’re not helping anybody out. That’s simply how I feel about these cats, point blank period. Like I said, just because I’m not going bug eyed and crazy over what Joell Ortiz says/does, when he raps, doesn’t mean I don’t know Hip Hop either. I just don’t feel the same way you do about home boy. You’re up here calling people stupid, because they don’t agree with YOUR opinion about Joell Ortiz. It’s like you’re upset because people don’t agree with you. That’s not what you do if you’re calling yourself trying to school somebody.

It’s not what you say, but how you say it. And to me, I was not impressed by Joell Ortiz’s verse. I’ve heard better, from plenty of artist with the same subject matter. Don’t try and school me on Hip Hop, because I’m well educated on the subject and I’m connected to many of it’s artist. So I can drop knowledge all day if I wanted. Bottom line, I ain’t feeling dude like that. Accept it an move on.

And for the record, Saigon spits way more than gun talk. He’s always spit positivity and upliftment of his people throughout his 10 year career. Yeah, and when he does talk about guns, at least it isn’t lie (like most rappers). He has the street record to match. It’s funny how people forget Saigon records like Say Yes, Kiss The Babies, Stocking Caps and so on. Do your research on these cats before you run your mouth and try to check somebody else about it.

It’s sad that I have to defend my opinion to these dickryding internet goers.

  42. belz! Says:

No no no kid, You ARE stupid and confused (concurrently). I’ve accepted the fact you like Saigon. I couldn’t give a shit. I never asked for you to respond to me (i was never talking to you in the first place, you should’ve kept your dumb mouth shut). I never challenged anything you said, i just called you lame for saying it. I’m pretty solid on the idea you LOVE saigon and dont love joell ortiz. fuckin amazing. you’re so cool.

Saigon? has one good record. ONE. “My favorite Things”. it’s hot. i love that record. its fuckin fire, it’s heat. every other record he’s touched (including the garbage you listed) sounds like it was produced by a fuckin 10 year old. His song with Jay-z? DONT MAKE ME LAUGH. disgusting. How many Just Blaze beats has Saigon wasted exactly? Do you know the number off hand?? HE IS GARBAGE. He’s recycled garbage, same nonsense flow, nothing new. He spits uplifting raps? if you’re 16 years old i guess.

WOW! new saigon it’s like fuckin new algae mold or something. he sounds like hes rapping with a mouthful of penis most of the time.

it’s cool man, you like that shit. peace, be good.
