Lil Wayne Has Recorded 20 Songs for Carter 4

lil-wayne-2

Lil Wayne’s engineer KY spoke to NewLilWayne and told them that Wayne has twenty songs down for the next installment of Tha Carter series. I’d imagine he’s going to keep on going (before he goes to prison, of course)  as Carter 4 doesn’t even have a release date in sight. Speaking of which, Rebirth drops next week. lol

I wonder how many of those 20 tracks The Empire has.

I’m hoping Jay Elec and Nas actually collab in the studio rather than Nas emailing a verse in. That shit is weak and is the reason why a lotta songs out there today end up sounding lame. Thank the internet.

^ I think that’s the exact way it went down… Jay Electronica said Nas is a busy man dealing with his own life. But I agree, there’s a certain chemistry that can only come about by vibing.

maybe they should stop flaunting these facts before I end up listening to THE CARTER 4 SESSIONS in a week or 2……………IF FOLKS DON’T KNOW THEY WON’T LOOK……make and album – put it an a safe until its time to promote it.

    As Jada said.
“If you knew about my ARCHIVE – then you know the God live / real talk – kill a nigga quick over my HARD DRIVE.”

I still cant find Dungeon Family/Calhouns: Outfits. That was my joint a couple years back.

    ^^
don’t know if he’s going to see this but if you want this track, I can rip it and upload it.

It was on The Calhouns album.

I guess when the said they “got” the Nas verse, they very well may have gotten him in the studio.

A flop is when an artist go from a mill the first week to not even 1/4 of that right after

On “Success,” how did you get away with talking about Jay?
    What do you mean?

“Worst enemies want to be my best friends…” Can you see how people can take that as a diss?
But could you see how Jay couldn’t relate to that in his own life with his own situation? Everything in Jay’s rhyme, I relate to. “Is this what success is all about?/A bunch of bitch niggas running around with big mouths.” I feel that every day. I’m sure he can relate to “Best friends want to be enemies like that’s what’s in.” We can both relate to one another’s verses. It’s about success.

Then you say, “I walk into the lion’s den and take everybody’s chips.” It sounds like you’re saying the worst enemy who wants to be your best friend is Jay-Z. And “walking into the lion’s den and taking everybody’s chips” is you signing a lucrative deal with Def Jam.Yeah, that’s how a lot of people looked at it.

So was that line about him?
Of course, of course. But that’s what’s big about him. We don’t get into the studio and just start rapping about fantasy shit. We talk about shit that’s real. It’s not like a blow to nobody; it’s real. I don’t think he would have expected me to say anything less

I guess it helps keep the artist relevant and in hopes that fans like the leaks enough to buy the album when it drops
