    ***i like the way he let the tension build (none) with his delivery…as the narrative became more tense/claustrophobic, so did his cadence…kinda like RBX did in “Stranded on Death Row”- “the muthafukkin COPS ARE ALL AROUND”, lol…ionno, just a great song/concept….starts out introspective and quiet, and just plays out differently as the scenario unfolds…

    Lyrically BP2 is Jay’s best album IMO. Shave that down to one disc and keep all of Just’s stuff and its a classic easy. But if it was a single album, no way would Jay go with only the dope shit.

    But kanye has done more critically acclaimed work than dilla, and revived average mc’s career. Kanye mastered both the mainstream and non mainstream music. Dilla was a relative unknown till he was dead.
