Video: Jay-Z ft. Mr. Hudson – Young Forever

I know everybody hates this song, but I like it, so you can all kick rocks.
This is like a Flip cam recording of the video playing on a TV so the quality is shit. We’ll put up the official version shortly if you wanna hold out for it.

It’s not that bad. If your not in some parts of Manhattan or Brooklyn than you probably only listen to street shit thats full of cliche rhymes and this song isn’t your type of thing (some of the New York or Northeast commenters on here that Eskay knows). This song is ok. Nothing great but a decent song and Hovito on his pop shit. This is what your girl would listen to if she was turning 30. Mainly for the non-connoisseurs or Billboard Top 200 fans of the Hip Hop culture which is 70% of the followers of Hip Hop.

how is it that Jay can take an entire song in almost it’s original form, lay a few verses over it, and call it his own. shit’s amazing to me

  18. Smear Says:

this shit is fucking horrible… This song has to have been the most re-done track in the last decade of pop music and gayer than Christmas. Shit is Corny as hell. I deleted it from my BP3 tracklist and had almost convinced myself it never Happened at all…

    ^^

You’d be surprised how many non-Caucasians had Taylor Swifts back when Kanye did his thing. A lot of people of minority races are adopting a somewhat white lifestyle and even following the music mainly listened by the white Americans. Not saying those lifestyles are shit but people get raised differently than from the stereotypical way of being raised as a black or hispanic. In a way it’s good unless it goes from a parent who bumped Public Enemy from a boom box to the kid of that person who has Fergie, Lil Wayne (on his Billboard 200 shit), or Miley Cyrus on the iPod in heavy rotation.

  29. K Says:

European Hov… he’s going for the money while thinking… “Ya’ll die poor” I can’t hate on the business move.

If you look at the itunes singles popularity for BP3 you would have been able to predict this… I personally was hoping for “A star is born”.

  30. kedordu Says:

^ SMH at you not getting the point. Hip Hop started in the streets and is now in it’s late 30’s or early 40’s, rich, powerful, lonely, and with a possibility of committing suicide on purpose or getting murdered because it’s been hanging with the wrong group and they control a part of it. The majority of followers of the genre are the people depending on the radio to feed them music which is much of America and still to this day unaware of a music blog and just finding out about social networking. Hip Hop is part of POPular culture btw.
