    lol jesus…

if that wasn’t the biggest waste of money, than i don’t know what is…
i had to sit through 5 minutes of retarded get-away scenes just to see khaled jam to his shitty music…

nigga the laws of physics cannot describe that scene

you need a certain speed before you actually get in contact with a firm window glass so it can shatter into pieces

and that nigga is definitely not fast

plus, NOTICE how the scene cuts from khaled runnin to the get away car, to the get a away car driving away

Hmmm, that’s a solid argument. The only one I could posit against it is that he clearly wasnt that type of artist, and made songs that suited his style, which is something alot of emcees should take heed to. Cant co sign that, dark and hell is hot is a 5 mic classic, there are a lot of gems in there

***seriously, listen to it again…like I said, I bought it yesterday, and I’m kinda reevaluating…I need to re-cop “Flesh of my flesh” again, too- that dropped in ’98 to, right? So did Redman’s “Doc’s the Name”…Redman prolly has more underrated/forgotten classics than anyone besides EPMD and Kool G.

i really do believe it is entirely possible to put together a cohesive and actual list of the best mc’s ever to grace the mic (uhuh) if we could some how come up with the proper criteria on which to grade them… the problem is, alot of people refuse to put numbers in their criteria.. so who in the hell would you make the list based on anything else?

    1. poll people?

    2. impact on the game outside of sales?

    3. concert numbers?

    4. amount of awards?

    what?

i’ve always said his first three are classic. never really heard Doc’s the Name mentioned as a fourth but i think it’s extremely close. 4 arguable straight classics. Not too many can claim that. EPMD did with their first four.

biggie songs are so vivid its scary, the details he adds to his stories were like no other, i mean the dude spit on a song and than talked about the story to his home boy in the studio and it was exactly the same (story to tell) or somebody gotta die, it was just classic sh!t and than he made radio hits like no other and i dont mean pop radio hits, but real rap hits and he also had those songs that talk about the struggle on his first album and songs for women and everyone…dude was nice man real nice and the kicker was he was only 24
