    i was in denial when i heard Crime Pays … now i know there’s a problem …

still … Camron from 2000 – 2005/2006, was the greatest MC to ever do it …

As was i. All Killa really needs is some quality production, which in turn can also serve as inspiration. No more buying 200 beats for 5K and thinking you came off and “hustled” (word to Writers Block 2 & 3, Dips third LP, Hell Rells first mixtape and Hell Rells first LP). That shit worked for a little while but know they/he have exhausted that.

  6. spirit equality Says:

i always though cam sounded like he was nodding on heroin when he rapped post-SDE

i hear the mutlis. i just never understood why anyone found him compelling to listen to. him and mf doom should make an album together. call it ‘sleepily delivered multis’

  7. Ghost Writer Says:

Now how the fuck Beans know Jay is working on a diss track? haha

    ———

OK… maybe not technically the greatest…

but there is no question that Cam’ron is easily my favorite MC of all time, based on his work (and Diplomats) during those years …

and i cant even think of who my second favorite MC would be …

How do we even know that’s even true?

    I see what happened there.

  13. b-ease Says:

Along with Em (which I hate to admit), Cam is the illest rapper to debut (with a solo LP) since 1998.

  14. spirit equality Says:

i hope some good music comes out of dd172. reports are mixed on that blakroc

mos + jay elec has got to lead to fire, though

and i like the cool kids’ 80’s throwback 808-heavy beats that i have heard

He reached an ill middle ground of spitting incredible bars while sounding like he didnt give a fuck on Dip Immunity 1. But by Dip 2, it started coming off as laziness. I’m not a big fan of Killah Season, despite popular Nah opinion. Wasnt a weed plate tho.

  20. landlord Says:

when i first heard “I Really Mean It” for the first time, i caught the Holy Ghost… sweartogod that nigga was God at that moment … i think i cried in the car …

  21. why? Rest In Peace To Rap, No, Rest In Peace To Wackness. Says:

I hope that IF Jay and Nas make a remix to Empire State of Mind that they are able to have more people dislike 50. I’m in Cali and even I know after 50 New York started to fall off.

To this day I still believe Jay came out of retirement because he didn’t like what most rappers (esp. from NY) were releasing mainly after 2003.

Word. They have this new vid that’s been getting mad spins on MTV Jams. Beat is insane.

    Unfortunately, they rap on it.

One of his biggest mistakes? “We really should have done some Rihanna Rocawear umbrellas when that song became a hit. We could have made a load of money on those. I’m still kicking myself.” – CamelGoat

    ^^
    *blank stare*

That’s sounds like a horrible idea to me. Maybe that’s why I’m not a multi-millionaire tho.

  30. landlord Says:

“…The game abuse it, its pain in music
But this year, wrist wear remains the bluest
I get lame and lose it, beef, came to do it
Aim and shoot it, flames ’til your brains is fluid…

…… Ya’ll just kids, see what I just did, take a couple bars off

  53. NovemberEnd aka What Do You Mean Teenager What Age Are We Talking About Says:

a Cam album produced by Just Blaze / Kanye during 2000-2002 would have been immaculate …why cant rappers see an opportunity to deliver something Epic …they always wait 9-10 years when such producer and/or the rapper himself falls off

  54. cOLD Says:

give up on Cam already, the nigga hit his peak a lil whiles back.

  55. KzA Says:

Malice went in. Peep the last four bars again. Not to say that’s the only dope stanza, cause its not, but I figure you’d be able to appreciate that remorseful drug dealer shit.

  61. Dewill Says:

    Range Rover look Laffey Taffey!

  62. Digital Scales Says:

Truth be told, if they’re not Jesus or Jay Electronica, I really don’t wanna hear them

  63. Peklo Says:

    OWWWWW

    *fixed*

    >>>haha…terrible omission. i still have hope for killa. yeezy is back on his hip-hop shit and just has beats for days. all he needs to do is get in the lab and stay as far away from gucci as possible. no hate, but cats put some of their worst flows on gucci cameos
