50 aint had major push in years, let’s be honest (n)

u know who did tho? Rawse.

^So that means that Rawse lost cause his album didn’t go gold.

FTR: I’d make love to nicole wray with every light on in the house

  3. Envius Says:

this album was solid…but didn’t live up to my expectations for it

  4. The Shot Clock aka I'm a Nahmerican Says:

thats cos Ye is an actual artist. one of the few.

    ^^

Co sign and no matter how much money talk jay spits, he is still considered an artist, like Em is an artist and i would even say Game is more of a pure artist than 50

    ^

    wait wat?

nah, Jay is a lyricist who keeps artists around him.

i’ll cosign Em tho. dude is phenomenal. i dont knw what Game is….

People don’t buy 50 music to get back at fifty for his shit talking and killing there favorite rappers career over the years. He said it himself, when him and kanye was beefing it was ye fans that brought 7 copies of graduation just so Ye can win.

    ^^

Joe…I absolutely refuse to believe that you think this is true. This is seriously the most ridiculous thing you have ever said…Where is your head at right now?

Okay, so if 50 wasn’t beefing with kanye he would’ve still move that many units the first week?

I think not. Buying the actual product is the only way listeners can have a voice, what do you think the definition of boycott is? In this case, I don’t think that was the problem, but more of his album leaking 2 months before his first release day.

Because in the music industry its what have u done for me lately and for those who dont care or know about the music business, is this was his re up ablum, the last one on his contract. One of my biggest gripes with AG was the dusty Hitmen beats. AG i probably my least favorite Jay album or bottom 2. The Lox have pretty decent ears for beats themselves but if they can somehow get Raekwon to pick beats, shieeet it can be a gem. Fat Joe (excluding his last album) and ross have great ears for prodcution as well

^yo truthfully, as much as people hate on 808’s.. how many people jumped on his tracks after the fact? shit, even alternative bands were covering his songs. the thing that separates Kanye from everyone else right now is his creativity. this dude tries shit noone even thought of.

i really believe this too. I really think he leaked his own album just because he knew he didnt have a “hit” single and just in case it flopped, like it did.

in a month or so, its easier for him to say – hey my album hasnt sold because it as leaked a month in advance. he gave himself an excuse. and plus i really dont see how a major album like that can leak that far in advance.

feces loco asks “When does the hood get hip hop back?”

As far as I can tell the hoods in the south have hip hop and they are pumping out heavy bass club hits left and right. Just like back when the south and midwest used to pump out all the R&B singles in the 50’s-60’s-70’s.

The black neighborhoods in the big coastal cities are fixed up, cleaned up, better educated, more sophisticated, and they even eat Grey muthafuckin Poupon.

The glory days of NY boom bap are not coming back. Hip hop purists just wont accept reality.

And I like this Nicole Wray song, and those whiteboys in the Black Keys have hella talent and play soul music.

P.S. 50 cent and Officer Rick are both lames, but Bawse picks better beats.
