B.Gizzle spoke to XXL yesterday about his situation at Atlantic Records and his relationship with Baby, who was trying to get him off Atlantic.
He said that once T.I. got in trouble in 2007, they put his project on hold. Although he wasn’t signed to Grand Hustle, and even had his own “Chopper City Records” imprint, T.I. was the Executive Producer of the album and it has gotten pushed back 4 times.
Baby even offered to Executive Produce the album, but that didn’t work out. His old label, E1 (KOCH,) offered to help co-release the album, but Atlantic said they would drop him in that event.
Seeing this as an opportunity, B.G. will be dropping Too Hood 2 be Hollywood on December 8th, on Atlantic/E1/Chopper City Records.
And surely #signingtocashmoney soon thereafter. Hit the jump for part 2 of the interview.
