    ^^^^^^

the shit is fuego aka fire!!!!!!!
hiphop needed this keep the ,momentum after BP3 and this is better except bp3 had more radio hit due to the collabos rihana, alecia, kanye ect

Its funny how 50 cent has so many secret fans on this site…but his music is like a hybrid of southern and new York….if anything…shouldn’t traditional lyric based fans hate this garbage…but instead they secretly love him and want him to do good….

It’s very baffling…50 cent music is garbage…sorry his old stuff was hot…I heard that war angel mixtape…it was aight for one spin and a frisbee…

People’s rap preference bias are so transparent….

LMAO…rey’s assesment of music is hilarious…I dont know why its funny, but he got a unique perspective of music…kinda like an outsider looking in with a cynical twist…

    ^^^

    Heh, no shots taken, but:

1- I hate being able to IMMEDIATELY target what audience or what message a song is supposed to send/be for. It’s insulting to my intelligence.

2- I hate people that shamelessly bite stuff and play it off like it’s theirs. Best example: Vanilla Ice saying the bassline for “Ice Ice Baby” ISN’T from “Under Pressure”.

3- I don’t mean to be cynical, but I still look at music as art–I love music–, and if you don’t have a passion for it, you don’t really care, and motherfuck your exploiting something I have a love for.

4- On a commercial music-level, in terms of strategery and sociology…nobody’s really seeing me on this music stuff.

Then there was absoluty no reason for you to mention it. Unless you just wanted some attention, in that case, mission accomplished.

It’s like I really wanna feel this LP… but damn, I just don’t. I’ve moved on from 50’s music.. I still bump GRODT when my white friends come around, but other then that, not much. He makes solid music and knows how to make a great album, but I could really give two shits about it..

Especially when my nigga weezy dropped a heat rock.. who would’ve thought that drugged out fool could still do it? After C2 I thought we had lost that mixtape weezy..

BISD dose have some “classic” 50 tho..

  8. djthreat1 Says:

way better beat than anything tim gave jay for blueprint 3. this is retarded.

  9. Ghost Writer Says:

50 cent is cool…yall cats critique too much and forgot how to enjoy music…have a problem with everything, just shut the fuck up and if you can make better music then make it

  10. Black Brokaw Says:

Big statements Rey, you will have to prove that.

  11. Joe 88 Says:

After a second listen, BISD is……….alright at best, but it’s not because of the lyrics, it’s more because of the beats and what’s expected from fiddy.

50 didn’t even put his “talk mad shit at the end of songs” stamp of approval on it, to my knowledge not one song had him talking shit at the end of it, and for me adds much much more charactor to his songs.

And the “do you think about me” tack is pure fire. I hate to say this, or put a stamp on a certain listener but hood niggas, excuse me, hustling or former hustling street niggas would love “when days go by” he bodied that last verse.

Um, I’m a diehard NY’er and fan of lyrical rap–and I dismissed 50 about 2 months after GRODT because he doesn’t rap lyrically. People just got hooked into the beats and the hype. For me, once it hit me that he was talking about a buncha bullshit I didn’t care about, at an extremely poor level, I was done.

    So there!

Word? I mean, I havent had a chance to peep it, but “Let’s Ride” off DA and the Keyshia collab were pretty bad.

And who are you a protege’ of? You know what that word means right? You’re basically sonning yourself.

I’m cool with it. I’ll admit flat out that I got a late start in rap and was only up on those who made it to a certain level of accessability–mtv, pop radio–but growing up w/o money, a radio that could get the urban NYC stations (no antenna, see “growing up w/o money), that shit’ll happen.

In any event, in terms of the audience stuff is aimed at, the emotional manipulation, the faux-rebellion, in the pop music sphere? Yeah, that’s me.

Plus, I’ve got a sick mind for trivia, so I picked out instantly the One Blood, The That’s Crazy, the Whoa…

  21. Joe 88 Says:

And, I breezed thru the no ceiling mixtape, and i’m definently not feeling that shit.

One thing this producer told me a long time ago, if your gonna rap over someone else beat, DON’T DO IT EXACTLY LIKE THEM MU’FUKKAS DID IT. I hate hearing a song that I already know flipped with a minor adjustment to a few words.

It worked for wayne a few years ago with the dedication series, but I can’t stomach it no more, nigga just go in over beats like you do the pac joints (n) It’s uncreative and imo wack

Gudda Gudda (his weed carrier) welcome to guddaville > No ceiling

Nigga you’re a hater, curtis had a bunch of good songs. I still kill i get money etc

^^Wrong. That album should have been called Hot Garbage. Although it was called Curtis so it was close. I Get Money was alright beatwise, but lyrically?

“They call me the cake man, the strawberry shake man”

The strawberry shake man? Are you fucking kidding me? If thinking that’s garbage makes me a hater, then I guess I’m a hater. Also, don’t forget about Amusement Park. That song was like 9/11. Never forget.

  26. Boos Bigelow Says:

    Wow….

so the Gucci mane hate is an automatic response without any merit, or thought behind it…One thing people hate is change..same with nelly, t.i., weezy, jeezy, soulja boy, drake…now its gucci…

I suspect by next year niggas will be reluctanly giving gucci props..just as they did with all the rappers they hated…its a built in hate chip from a cultural bias…some people are able to rid themselves of the chip others aren’t

Hey look, I understand your situation. You found out that a girl you used to obsess over was going to be on the Real World, so you came on Nah after years of lurking and decided you could live out your fantasy life and pretend like you smashed her.

But your innate herbness prevented you from stating who she was.

My advice, get a different screen name, and try un-lurking again tomorrow. Today isnt your day chief.

“Baby”???? We need a fucking board.

    The track is also trash,….fyiiiii

  32. Boos Bigelow Says:

LMAO…at this dude…I never seen the screen name before…his first words ever was smashing a chick off the real world…who still watches mtv? vh1> mtv……

thats mad corny for your first words to be about smashing a chick off the real world then not telling no one her name or how she gets down..
