Video: Young Jeezy & Jay-Z To Shoot ‘As Real As It Gets’ Video

via MTV:

Young Jeezy made another onstage connection with Young Hov on Saturday night, when the Snowman brought out Jay-Z during the BET Hip-Hop Awards. The following night, Young told MTV News that their performance of “As Real as It Gets” was the setup for an even bigger event, the song’s video.

“Opened up the BET Awards, me and Jay-Z,” Jeezy said on set of Triple C’s and Rick Ross’ new video for “Erryday.” “Shouts out to the homie, man, he stopped through. He was on his way to another show. But that’s what we do. Real ones do real things. I just wanted to do something big for the city. Since the song is on both of our albums, we gonna shoot the video. It’s gonna be crazy. We said, ‘Let’s go ahead and break it in at the BET Awards.’ ”

Jeezy explained that the video is going to display some of their riches. “We just gonna go dumb,” he said. “Call Rick [Ross] up, everybody. [We’ll have] cars, watches, blunts, money, just go dumb. Dumm-meeee! That’s what we need to do.”

Jeezy also said he wouldn’t mind doing some more shows with Jay-Z. “I’mma keep it all the way live, homie. At this point in my career, I’m like, whatever, I do this from the heart,” Mr. 17.5 said. “Everything I do is real to me. If it’s some strings and orchestra with it, and we still talking about what we supposed to be talking about, I’m all for it.”

    I like Jeezy’s music.

    @ B-Ease– I liked O&R.. I thought it’d be worse but it wasn’t bad.

    ~~~
    As for Detox… People aren’t gonna care on this site. This album is gonna be more hated on by Nahggers than any project from any other rapper ever, and I can’t blame ‘em..
    It’s taken too long, there have been too many shelved artists from ShadUnitMathTerscope, too many “ehh” projects from them.. Last two best albums to come from anyone from that whole clique have been *gulp* (nh) The Documentary and Doctor’s Advocate, and we all know how that went.
    Yeah, so what’s your point?
    Still D.R.E. has the best bars Dre spit on the album.
    Jay custom fitted that shit for Dre.
    The verses Marshall & Hittman penned sounded like Marshall & Hittman.
    ^You said the best bars on the album, when “xxxplosive” was a way better song overall, and kurupt killed that shit. I knew that jay wrote that shit before I knew jay wrote it, word to saying he had jay writing on the album but didn’t say which song, that’s how much of a stan I was at the time, but it wasn’t the best song, or the best bars on the album, just saying.
    I wanna hear the first version of “still DRE” that dre talked about when that album dropped, he said jay was rapping about benz and rolls royce’s, I know that shit was flames, lol
