Darryl “Poppa” Taylor according to federal investigators is the first cousin of P. Diddy and according to his own testimony was introduced to the Terry Flenory via P. Diddy’s head of security Paul Buford, who was on trial himself as Taylor’s co-defendant and remains a fugitive as of this writing

Poppa was one of the leaders of bmf

If u dont know who Wofl is

Wolf Jones, had figured prominently in the entertainment world, rising to stature as P. Diddy’s head of security following the arrest by federal authorities of Walter “King Tut” Johnson; who was nabbed as a person of interest to agents on October 24, 1996 investigating the recent death of Tupac Shakur in September of that same year.

Gun shots to Tut now u stuck…pacs lyrics in against all odds

Wolf started with Badboy and diddy when at a 1995 at a birthday fete for music mogul Jermaine Dupri, that words would be exchanged between Anthony “Wolf” Jones and an individual named Jake Robles a MOB PIRU blood gang member and close confident and bodyguard of Suge Knight. Wolf shot suge boy that night and thats when the beef really started, it had nothing to do with music

It was in 2003 at the same birthday bash that Diddy hosted for Big Meech, that later on in the evening Wolf would find himself demoted from his position as Security head for Bad Boy entertainment and replaced by Paul Buford a close friend of the Flenory’s and a high ranking member within the BMF click.

Big was always trying to look out for Pac, and in an audio interview Pac claimed that Big had warned him about his new company. Big kind of turned out lookin like Nostradamus because a little while later Pac and Jack had a fall out when Pac was pinned with the rape charges. Haitan Jack was actually Pac’s co-defendent…him and King Tut were the ones SUPPOSEDLY raping the girl with Pac tryin to play the role as the hook up for his boys. Pac was hit with the maximum penalty while Jack got off very light….with already swirling rumors of Jack being a snitch, this made it even clearer to Pac. Later Pac would call Jack a snitch in an article in the NY Daily.

That’s the official back drop…this all led to the Quad studio shooting. The story here has different sides, but first lets look at what both sides agree on. Pac was in New York with some of his boys including Stretch. Jimmy Henchmen gave Pac a call and asked him to get on a song with one of his artist for $7000. Pac agreed…there was clear tension since Pac was at odds with some of Henchmen’s good friends, and Henchmen wasn’t appreciating Pac’s delay in coming to the studio when they are paying for time

Here’s where shit gets intense. Most current rap fans believe that Deathrow inherited the beef with Bad Boy for Pac…WRONG. The beef started at the Source awards in ‘95 BEFORE Pac was signed to Suge. But im gonna break down some knowlege you may not have known about Puff’s cousin Wolf…and how shit started to snowball. Let me summarise the events from a book i got in hand.

Tensions soared a month after the gauntlet was thrown down at The Source awards between Death Row and Bad Boy at Jermaine Dupri’s birthday party in Atlanta attended by both Suge Knight and Sean Combs. The party crown assembled at the Platinum Club which Combs attended accompanied by several men he later insisted were not his bodyguards. Knight had his favourite stand over man in toe, Jai Hassan Jamaal ‘Jake the Violator’ Robles with him. Standing six feet tall and roughly 245 pounds, Jake was an active M.O.B. Piru gang member with a physically domineering presence who was felt through hard looks than verbal address. After the incarceration of Daryl Henley, Suge replaced Jake with the job of keeping everyone on Death Row in line with a menacing look of promise over threat.

At 4am, off duty Fulton County Shariff’s deputy moonlighting as door security witnessed an argument ensuing inside the club that looked to escalate to a fight. He confronted Suge Knight and Jake Robles standing off against Combs’ cousin, ‘Wolf’ and four Crips. Breaking up the situation, the Deputy ordered Wolf and Combs’ men to leave the venue and insisted Suge and Jake to reamin inside for fifteen minutes to defer any further meeting between the two involved parties. Wolf and the Crips left with Combs shortly behind. After five minutes Suge and Jake impatiently walked out the front to their waiting limousine. Both man had taken their seats inside the vehicle when only to exit the car again to meet the approaching Wolf and crew. The deputy noticed Wolf reach for a gun and reached for his side arm and chased Wolf to the back of the club only to lose him among parked cars. The deputy had walked off to hear three shots ring out, finding Jake Robles laid out fatally wounded with bullets piercing his torso. Amongst the fleeing crowd, Combs walked up to Suge to inquire what had happened, Suge gestured to his fallen friend and promptly told Puff, “You had something to do with this.”

Back in L.A. word had spread around Blood organizations that Jake had died at the hands of Comb’s cousin and the Crips protecting Suge Knight who was targeted. Soon after an Atlanta newspaper identified Combs’ cousin as the murderer, although Combs denied involvement to a Vibe Magazine writer. “If I set a nigga up, which I would never do, I’m’a be in Bolivia somewhere.” He reported Death Row putting out a contract on his life. The magazine interview was not looked on favourably by Death Row’s camp. Later both parties met again at the Soul Train Awards in L.A. Bad Boy secured by a squad of ‘Fruits Of Islam’ soldiers.

After Suge’s release from the halfway house following the Stanley Brothers’ assault and robbery case, he spent the summer of ’95 travelling to the Danemorra state prison visiting fallen rap icon Tupac Shakur to secure the desperate star’s employment for three records to be released onto Death Row Records.(THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT EVERYONE, THINK ABOUT I NAHRIGHT, PAC RELEASED A DOUBLE ALBUM THATS 2 AND THAN MAKEVILLI THATS ONE, CONTRACT FULFILLED AND THAN HE DIED) Death Row shared interest in Tupac’s violent beef with Bad Boy fuelling the fire between both labels into disastrous consequences. Both Tupac and Suge Knight were antagonists by nature. They banded together under a common foe and went into battle, all the while Death Row’s dominance bounced back with the release of Tupac’s super-album ‘All Eyes On Me’ with him promoting Death Row to the world of hip-hop.

Let the games begin. Now Pac signed a slave deal despite the fact that he was already established as the hottest emcee in the game. Some say it was because he needed to get out of jail, others say that Pac finally found somebody with the power to get back at his enemies who set him up. I believe it was both. Both Suge and Pac believe Puff set them up on some foul shit that lead to a killing in Suge’s good friend, and pac takin the “5 shots”.

  4. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

It’s hard to get a handle on any situation that you weren’t actually involved in. It becomes really easy to get swayed in the wrong direction. To this day a lot of people believe that this war started a rap beef that turned sour by the media. The fact of the matter is that this was a street battle that made it’s way into hip hop. In the mid 90’s there were no such thing as hip hop cops, and Pac was sayin whatever he felt like saying on his songs. Another misconception is that Deathrow was doing the bullying with the upper hand. Truth is, both sides were backed by armies and it was a tit for tat. The one main difference was the philosophy at Bad Boy was to walk the walk as opposed to talk the talk.

“Bad Boy’s move in silence” and “We got millions of thug’s on salary” weren’t just sayings. Puff was a real smart dude, and he had some real life gangsta’s behind him and they were choosing to keep a low profile.

  5. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

    Oh side note

“…Wolf. As an interesting side note, Wolf was also involved in the infamous Rucker Park beat down of Jim Jones. In the beginning of the video below, you can hear Cease describe Wolf in the burgandy hat.

    Give this man a cigar.

Cause as much as Puff & Big denied any involvement with the shooting, why didn’t they go to the prison to look Pac in the eyes and say as much. If you my nigga & you think I did some foul shit I didn’t do, I’m gonna go holla at you and set it straight. Bad enough Pac was buggin behind the rape trial and you know the weed only heightened his paranoia. They did some hoe shit. by not coming to see him. If Pac was your nigga like that, why not do what Suge eventually did and try to sign him to Bad Boy?

  9. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

New York promoter, Mark Anthony Bell was a high school friend of Puffy’s and occasionally worked for the record exec. As Bell reports, he was contacted in September following the murder of Jake Robles by an unnamed voice asking for him ti give up the home addresses for Puffy and his mother. He was asked to write the details down on paper and drop it outside his front door and that’s all he had to do. In exchange he would receive a record deal. Bell refused to participate.

Three months later in Los Angeles, Bell was over on business when his frind Roderick Nixon was commissioned to photograph the Death Row Christmas party in the Chateau Le Blanc mansion on Astral Drive in the Hollywood Hills. Nixon organised an invitation for Bell to the evening event. They arrived at the party at 22.30 whereas Suge and entourage didn’t arrive till around 02.00. When he did arrive he noticed Bell near the dance floor. Suge approached him and asked why he didn’t cooperate with his requests. After insisting his ignorance of such details, he was ushered into an upstairs V.I.P. room by six men, two of were recording legends, Tupac Shakur and Dr. Dre. The room was filled with MTV reporters and a photographer being entertained. They were asked to leave by Suge’s brother-in-law, Norris Anderson who positioned himself outside the door as a lookout.

  10. Ghost Writer Says:

wait wait wait….cats is snitchin’ in here? How the hell yall know so much? Or yall just making shit up?

  11. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

Inside, Suge pulled out a chair into the middle of the room for Bell and asked him to sit while seven men surrounded him. Suge demanded an explanation of his non-cooperation and quizzed him on knowledge of Puffy Combs. As Tupac whispered constantly in Suge’s ear, a Piru member started beating Bell with occasional blows dedicating each hit to Jake Robles vocally who eventually told him he was going to kill him. At which point Suge went to the bathroom and filled a champagne flute with urine and instisted Bell drink up. Bell escaped from the room and darted for the balcony overlooking the lobby entrance. He was caught hanging from the guardrail with an audience watching in awe. The group tried pulling him back up with the exception of Tupac who was pounding his grasped hands. When secured onto the floor they swooped onto him beating down on him with Suge ordering, “Body blows only!” He was choked until he almost fainted. Bell played dead while they stripped him of his gold Rolex watch, wallet and jewellery worth an estimated $20,000.

  12. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

. Big was actually the first one to start a feud on wax with “Who shot ya”. This was a clear shot at Pac, even though they would deny and say it was recorded earlier. The fact of the matter is, the timing of the release was after Pac was shot and pointing fingers any chance he got to the media. (also notice how jayz compared the hit em up to who shot ya, in his last album) lurkers stay with me

  13. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

and don’t let the little lines pass you up…when he says “fuck your bitch and the click you claim”. That click he’s talkin about isn’t Junior mafia or anything else….he’s talkin about the crips. Make no mistake, this war quickly turned into some serious gang shit. Go back to the 2nd part when Henchmen said he approached Pac with a few crips he had with him. Or when in part 3 Wolf killed Suge’s man with a few crips. Let me get a little ahead of myself and remind you of a Big line…”my team in the marine blue”. With Deathrow’s Blood affiliation, Bad Boy had the Crip’s backing them….aka millions of thug’s on salary.

  14. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

Lets fast forward a little bit to the time of the “realest shit he every wrote”….you thought he was just saying that for jokes??This is also where Pac takes the shit to a next level and simply consumes himself with the beef like a mad man.

The first verse was dedicated to rappers, 2nd verse he did the unthinkable and called out some real niggas, 3rd verse was a mix.

I heard he was light skinned, stocky with a Haitian accent
Jewelery, fast cars and he’s known for flashing (What’s his name???)
Listen while I take you back (NIGGA SAY HIS NAME!) and lace this rap
A real live tale about a snitch named Haitian Jack
Knew he was workin for the feds, same crime, different trials

Right here he’s referring to when I told you that Pac and Hatian Jack had a fall out cause Pac got the maximum penaly while Jack got a different trial and no jail time. Also, he said that the cops who arrested him for the rape case, were the same ones who showed up at the Quad shooting…making it look like Hatian Jack was a close informant

  15. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

promised a payback, Jimmy Henchman, in due time
I know you bitch niggas is listenin, The World Is Mine
Set me up, wet me up, niggas stuck me up
Heard the guns bust but you tricks never shut me up
Touch one of mine on everything I own
I’ll destroy everything you touch, play the game nigga
All out warfare, eye for eye

Now we get the madness from Pac. Never has something this bold been laid out on a track…and like I said, Pac wasn’t just talkin shit, the character he played in Juice took control of the real him and all he wanted was war.

Here we come, gunshots too Tutt, now you stuck
Fuck the rap game, nigga this M-O-B
So believe me we enemies, I go against all odds

For those who didn’t know….Suge was affiliated with Piru, but later started his own gang with M-O-B…that’s right, that was all Suge’s gang. Even though Suge has a big image as a fucked up dude….it’s still not accurate to what he actually was in the street. He owned Compton.

  16. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

Puffy gettin robbed like a bitch, to hide the fact
he did some shit he shouldn’t have did, so we ridin for that

The problem that comes with having a million thugs on salary is that these thugs are only down with you using you for your money. Jimmy, Jack, Tut, the Crips…were all deep in Puff’s pockets. Big and Puff were actually puppets who got taken into a dangerous path by the people around them, both were also brainwashed into the lifestyle.

And that nigga that was down for me, rest the dead

This is when it started to get really crazy. That line is directed at Stretch who was with him during the Quad shooting. Pac claimed that no one touched Stretch when usually the biggest dude gets hit first. Later in an interview Pac says that Stretch started hangin out with Bad Boy after the shooting. One year to the very DAY of the shooting, Stretch was murdered execution style…which makes that line foul as hell.

  17. Mr. Iceberg Slim Says:

Probably be murdered for the shit that I said

Pac’s fascination with death wasn’t something he was into. He knew, he had some bad ass mothafucka’s after him…and he knew he was saying and doing some shit to piss them off. With all the gang war’s behind the scenes, he had a good idea this would end with a tragedy so he started recording tracks to put out after his death.

To all you bitch made niggas, I’m comin for you
Against all odds, I don’t care who the fuck you is, nigga
You touch me I’m at you
I know you motherfuckers think that I forgot
Hell no I ain’t forgot nigga
I just remember what you told me
You said don’t go to war unless I got my money behind me
Aight, I got my money right here, now I want war

Once again, this is directly for the G’s behind the scenes at Bad Boy. Dude completely lost it and wanted revenge. Remember that he admitted Hatian Jack and Tut introduced him to the gangsta lifestyle and schooled him on shit. They taught him the rules to war as well, can’t start a war without money…and he now found his money with Deathrow, and it was on.
