^ I’m saying I overstand how hip hop has to evolve, but at the same time it must maintain the same building blocks it was built on. This is the fundamentals, the nutrients, the shit that gets in your soul. Doesnt have to be boom bap, doesnt have to have scratching on the song. Doesnt have to be hardcore, but it should atleast bare some form of it – for it to be labled hip hop.

  71. Rey aka NahRight's Corey Feldman Says:

Fuck that.. In a lot of ways, MOTM is more of a hip-hop album than a lot of shit.. Rap used to be about the struggle, but you listen to have the shit out there and it’s shopping bag rap..

Sean Coonery is a satirical character, but he’s just mirroring what’s accepted in the genre.. Guys talking about their high end designer clothes one second and then making pathetic attempts to hold onto their masculinity by using uber-exaggerated claims of sexual conquest..

    It’s pathetic.

CuDi’s “keeping it real” in that he’s speaking about genuine things.. The debate on whether or not it’s hip-hop can be answered by the arrangement of the music and the cadences.. It’s not NOT hip-hop because he isn’t yelling or talking about selling crack instead of smoking weed..

Ya’ll act like you’re the only 40 people in the world with an affinity for iambic pentameter.
