This is a known fact, very obvious, but Alicia Keys is fucking beautiful, like really really beautiful, her speaking voice, singing voice, face, body, teeth, personality

I just fell in love watching an interview

  25. cOLD Says:

I just got finished listening to It was Written after the convo lastnight. I can see why some say IWW is > Illmatic. That album is flawless. But I give Illmatic the vote for the simple fact, its impact on the culture is for the history books. A corner was turned in hip hop when illmatic droppe… straight up.

    *daps massive*

  26. cOLD Says:

  27. Digital Scales Says:

Like yo cOLD i always thought she was beautiful but I don’t pay much attention to her, wow shes really really bad

  33. Danielson a.k.a. My Blog Game Proper™ Says:

    @ Digi

it wasnt even racial until the whites and hispanics started twittering racist shit. it shows the sad state of affairs in the US – no once gives a fuck that your President is black because a white man is allowed to shout him down and not an eyelid is bat.

but a semi-talented white girl is interrupted at a stupid VMA award show by a black artist (irrelevant of his accomplishments and talent), suddenly hes evil and white people “see the devil” in him.

    shit makes me so mad.

  34. - keka - Says:

    ha,
i see the south haters are in the house (*as usual)

  35. It'smesnitches Says:

Nas and Jr Gong need to drop that album before the year’s over

  36. cOLD Says:

…seriously everyone knows I stan for esco, but how people don’t recognize Nas as the GOAT is beyond me. This dude is the cat your favorite mc’s aspire to rhyme like.

you hear it all the times in interviews, from Jay E, to Elzhi, to Common.

I dont want to make it a Jay z vs Nas thing, but the type niggas who patented their style after Jay, are cornballs. Jay z’s flow today is as good as it gets, but back in the 90’s his flow was nothing to be gaga about.

  37. cOLD Says:

This season it was bromance (pause) and threesomes. The black chick on there kinda looked like a baby raptor, but she could still get it.

One of my fav Nas albums, right after IWW and Illmatic. But I’m not a big fan of I Can, got real annoying, real fast. And I can take or leave Warriors song. I can’t remember what song was in between book of rhymes and mastermind, so that mightve been filler too, lol.

  57. cOLD Says:

^ word Ghost held me down, for a minute… (none)

  58. Joe 88 Says:

*Listens to Kid Cudi “Man on the moon”*

*Still hasn’t listen to BP3 since my first listen*

I’m keeping in the cut for when it gets cold, for some reason, Jay-Z album dropping when it’s hot just doesn’t seem right, I think that’s what it is, almost all of his albums came out when it was cold, 4th quarter rather.

  59. LondonBloke: Lambeth Livin but Still Winnin Says:

There is irony in illmatic…that softish nigga [n] helped to really boost gangster rap

Thug Mansion – no filler at all. And yeah i agree I Can got REAL annoying but that doesnt take away that its a good track…it was just soo comercially viable it got annoying [see: Big Pimpin]

IMO the tracklist order can make a above average album a classic, think about all the albums that are classic, the tracklist was flawless, the songs just flowed, makaveli comes to mind while i’m typing, that album just flowed straight threw from beginning to end.
