Truck North feat. Big Pooh – Dutch Dalton (prod. Tony Baines)

truck-north

Here’s the second single from DJ RTC/RubyHornet/Soundscape Studio’s Closed Session project:

We gave you guys a visual taste of the second leak from our Closed Session project earlier in the week. For the follow up to “Rapper Weed” featuring Curren$y we tapped Philly’s Truck North, who picked another Tony Baines beat for “Dutch Dalton”. About half way through the Closed Session, he hit up Big Pooh who was also in town. Pooh came through SoundScape and jumped on track and “Dutch Dalton” (a nod to baseball’s Keith Richards) was born. You can download the track below, and look for future tracks featuring Amanda Diva, Kidz In The Hall, Chip Tha Ripper, and others coming soon. [via RubyHornet]

  7. Harlem World Says:

CHICAGO – Chip Tha Ripper’s main focus is to create his own lane and type of music that can’t be mimicked. He takes to the lakefront and El tracks to showcase his skills

    ^^^
I understand what ya tryna do but rap is far too oversaturated to even try and create a new lane. Every year they allow 1 or 2 new dudes in. (no homo). The rest gotta fight for scraps. Before Wu Tang entered this industry, The Rza claims to have counted every rapper with a deal in the U.S just to see who the competition was. Could you imagine trying to do that shit now? Stick to ya day job b or try get some of that good ol reggaeton dough, because any money you make now will not be enough to retire with, especially with these high tax bands.

    Seriously though,

y’all were talking about it & I was curious. I know public enemy, but not that well apparently.

I didn’t ask you to explain the universe to me. I just wanted to be able to add something to the convo. I’m not looking to you to be an advisor or anything.

& don’t take the “enlighten” that serious. There are varying degrees of enlightening & I wanted to know what Griff was talking about. Simple as that.

I’ll leave it alone since its obviously a sensitive subject.
