Video: NBA 2K10 Kobe Bryant Signature Play Trailer

Featuring this year’s anthem from the NBA Playoffs, Kanye West’s “Amazing” off 808s & Heartbreak, as the backdrop. Basically, the NBA gave him a check so that they could use it for the 2009 playoffs and now he’s getting another check so that they’re can also use it on NBA 2K10. Imagine if Lebron actually takes it home next year…

  4. cOLD Says:

you really think the content of that record lends itself to a primo/alc beat?? That song is a single for the clubs, not an album cut for the whip.

^ correct me if Im wrong but isnt so ghetto a preemo joint that also translated well into a club banger?

Vick is overrated as a QB but he made up for it with his other skills. I don’t expect miracles but if anyone can turn a marginally-good Black QB into something, it’s Andy Reid

    ^^^
I still think this team was a horrible fit for him(none).. He’s not a classic drop-back QB, they run a classic timing based offense… Maybe i’m wrong, and he’ll actually progress and learn to read coverages and throw the ball accurately.. West Coast Offenses jus don’t work for him… Shoutout to Dan Reeves, whom was creative and did some interest things w/ Vick(nh) and catered 2 his strengths and was successful with it

Yeah, those were joints that managed to cross over but given the exact content and cadence of Venus/Mars, the beat fit perfect and was tailored made for the club, how could niggas be mad at what arguably made Hov into the icon he is?

no, I wouldn’t say so. You MIGHT have heard it in the club when the album dropped, but as catchy as it may have been, still a street banger, not a club joint (ie I just wanna love you, exude me miss rmx).

  20. Geronimo P Says:

@ Cici… i’m interested to see wha Vick can do.. We all know he had an arm, that was never a problem, Dude couldn’t read coverage 4 shit , i’m interested to see if he’s progressed in that sense.. i expect him to be rusty, i’m jus wondering if he can read the coverage, go thru his prgression n hit the check down..

^That shit won’t happen until Vick loses his speed. Thats what usually happens with mobile/scrambling QBs. If they don’t have a good QB vision from the beginning, they usually won’t get it until they lose a step or slow down, cuz they rely too heavily on their athleticism.

Cunningham, McNabb, Culpepper, Young all became better QBs after they stopped outrunning opponents. But even when Vick slows down, he’ll still be hella faster all linemen and most LBs.

^ cause he’s the same nigga talking about wearing all black for a year straight and swears to take hip hop back to the streets. OK ok I know its a business and at the end of the day you gotta make dough… but finding that fine line of club banger/street anthem is the true artistry. Don’t alienate your base is all im saying.

  25. Eastern_Digital Says:

I really dont why niggas aint workin with Bink like that. Either he’s very picky who he works with, charges stupid high prices or is hard to work with. He came through with bangers for over a decade now.

Some songs can be club bangers that wasn’t meant to be club bangers, word to gucci mane “bricks”

I swear the club went crazy when that shit came on, and I know for a fact he wasn’t aiming at the clubs with that one.

I think it’s a difference between club bangers and songs that attempt to be club bangers

So ghetto was a club banger, and he shot a video for it, and it was his first single, so I expect he was aiming for the clubs with that one. I don’t think he was aiming for the clubs with venus vs mars, just my opinion

  28. cOLD Says:

b-ease you’re actually saying excuse me miss was more a club banger than so ghetto?

I gotta listen to venus again, let me see if I can find the appeal in that god awful instrumental.

It’s Hov my nigga, you really think he’s not going to have at most 3 commercial songs out of 15? He AWLAYS had at least 3 commercial songs so by the fact he isn’t alienating anything. Don’t be another disgruntled Ex-fan making predeterminations off the commercial leaks. If you think the album is wack once heard in it’s entirety, then cool but lets not throw repetitive propaganda to articulate your argument.

I see ur point but, it’s not that black & white.. Young was already an exceptional QB he played in the Edwards/Chow Offense @ BYU, Played N The USFL and was a bust @ Tampa, His Career Turned around when he met Bill Walsh.. He didn’t never lost his Speed shoutout 2 the 80 yard run against the vikings as a niner.. Culpepper never lost his speed the year, when he was on top of his game he still mad speed, he just became a student of the game, same w/ Mcnabb.. Cunningham u have an argument for..

i cant believe niggas is saying Primo or Dilla joints dont work in clubs … wtf? … is yall going to gay clubs and shit?… listening to songs at 175 beats per minute? … good hiphop is good hiphop, fuck what a club thinks or plays … “So Ghetto” was a perfect example … that joint STAYED in the clubs … at least the clubs i went to … some of yall are starting to obtain an ear for music like women … bottom line … JayZ is the new LL (c) cOLD … mad niggas have passed him by, skillwise … no hate, but thats what happens when you do something for over 10 years at a high level … you fall off … no shots at Hov… but he’s showing his age … nothing wrong with that … happens to the best of em … i seen the same shit happen to Kane … and Rakim … and KRS… and Chuck D … no shame … life goes on, and at some point it will pass us all by … get off JayZ nuts … his new work is substandard and everyone knows and feels it … be clear …

Also I wasnt making reference to the whole album just that one song… I havnt even spoke on the other leaks which I think are all types of ass.
