So ghetto was a club banger, and he shot a video for it, and it was his first single, so I expect he was aiming for the clubs with that one. I don’t think he was aiming for the clubs with venus vs mars, just my opinion

    ^^
there was a vid for so ghetto?? I don’t think so…

Venus and mars = not for the club?!? I can’t begin to say how wrong that statement is, lol.

cause he’s the same nigga talking about wearing all black for a year straight and swears to take hip hop back to the streets. OK ok I know its a business and at the end of the day you gotta make dough… but finding that fine line of club banger/street anthem is the true artistry. Don’t alienate your base is all im saying.
    ^
It’s Hov my nigga, you really think he’s not going to have at most 3 commercial songs out of 15? He AWLAYS had at least 3 commercial songs so by the fact he isn’t alienating anything. Don’t be another disgruntled Ex-fan making predeterminations off the commercial leaks. If you think the album is wack once heard in it’s entirety, then cool but lets not throw repetitive propaganda to articulate your argument.

^That shit won’t happen until Vick loses his speed. Thats what usually happens with mobile/scrambling QBs. If they don’t have a good QB vision from the beginning, they usually won’t get it until they lose a step or slow down, cuz they rely too heavily on their athleticism.

Cunningham, McNabb, Culpepper, Young all became better QBs after they stopped outrunning opponents. But even when Vick slows down, he’ll still be hella faster all linemen and most LBs.

    ^^^
I see ur point but, it’s not that black & white.. Young was already an exceptional QB he played in the Edwards/Chow Offense @ BYU, Played N The USFL and was a bust @ Tampa, His Career Turned around when he met Bill Walsh.. He didn’t never lost his Speed shoutout 2 the 80 yard run against the vikings as a niner.. Culpepper never lost his speed the year, when he was on top of his game he still mad speed, he just became a student of the game, same w/ Mcnabb.. Cunningham u have an argument for..

^Thats not what i was saying. I was saying that mobile qbs tend to learn to read defenses better and become better passers after they lose a step. Unless they have that vision prior to losing their speed, most don’t get it until they slow down and then HAVE to rely on the arm and not their legs. Culpepper most definitely had that qb vision even when he was mobile.

That was the point i was tryin to make, culpepper never lost his speed when he was wreckin shop w/ the vikings nor did young, or mcnabb.. The only difference was they became students of the game.. that’s why i’m interested to see if Vick, has done that… i don’t expect him to be deadly accurate rite now or on time w/ his decisions, but does he make the rite decisions goin thru his reads n what not.. Its a process.. i still think, this type offense is a bad fit but, w/ the weapons they have, i can quickly change my mind

^I see what both of you are saying. Maybe he will get it now. Like he said in the 60 minutes interview, he was lazy and relied strictly on his athleticism. Maybe now he’ll apply himself and become a better QB

Bottom line Dilla and Alc are great in their own right but if any of their shit gets spins in the club its a miracle.
