Jay-Z feat. Drake – Off That (prod. Timbaland)

For those of you who were concerned about the number of features on Blueprint 3, there’s no verse from Drake, he’s only on the hook on this one (c) how Lil Wayne likes things. If one of their collaborations does make Thank Me Later, hopefully some spit will be exchanged [||], because that’s what everyone is trying to hear.

I had much higher expectations, but still pretty cool.I still think KanYe Abd No.ID should have produced the whole album together.

I wonder why Jay would put a rapper on the hook???? hahahahhahaha

BP3 starting to sound like the equivalent of Graduation. Sell -out album trying to cross genres.

and Run this Town didn’t get the feedback Jay thought it would.

^^Yeah, only #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in its third week, rising from 66 in its second week. Good thing there’s some piece of shit on the Internet to let us know the true measure of success of a song. I haven’t even listened to this new track because my girl is sleeping next to me but the level of cognitive dissonance some of you bitches endure to make your non-points is staggering. You’re like the retards comparing Obama to Hitler. “Run This Town is getting NO response!!” Yeah, and Obama wants to murder your Grandma too.

#3 on the charts because of there’s 3 big names on the song, and people are already tired of the song and the video. Not good enough for Jay-Z standards. Go top the top of skyscraper and Ron Brown yourself. (c) Joe Budden

So he makes a song about “starting” trends… and then getting “off” them… but he puts Drake on the hook. (a. Umm, you just put the trendiest rapper alive on what was “supposed” to be your first single and b. we know you only put him on the hook because you’re a little concerned with the fact that some people think he’s better than you… were) Whatever, Hovie. I’d rather listen to Kanye cry about the paps and brag about Amber Rose than listen to Jay tell me how he’s a trendsetting millionaire with a “high-yellow” broad… blah blah blah… enough.

  16. lola Says:

Oh… and my personal opinion: Run This Town isn’t really “garbage”. The hook is catchy. Kanye MURDERED his verse. The Jay verse… eeh. A lot of smoke and mirrors though… Starting to see Jay’s insecurity. He’s pulling out a lot of stops he never used to care about. His age is starting to show…

  17. k dot Says:

timbaland took eleven of his wackest beats and put them in a blender to come up with this wack smoothie of a beat. it confuses me… and why is jay still talkin about being “off” cristal… i figured he would have sold enough ace of spades by now to cut the marketing campaign… because that is really all that was about…

  18. k dot Says:

jermaine dupri would have made a better beat…
