Video: Tony Yayo on 50 Cent’s ’40 Day’

“The mayor was saying he spoke to 50 and he agreed that it wouldn’t be a performance. Yo, I can’t get at the mayor. I don’t even wanna say anything bad about him — I don’t wanna get pulled over when I leave from outta here! But 50’s big, 50s bigger than life. Rumor is he spent over half a million dollars on this.”

“I know he has over 30 busses for Great Adventure on the 29th. To me, it’s a positive thing — it’s giving back. Just like how they did Baisley Park,” Yayo said, referring to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Community Garden, which 50 dedicated late last year. “Shout out to Preme, I know he in the Feds throwing up. He bought your park. When you got money, you can do whatever you wanna do.”

Rex worded it perfect… I don’t hate drake at all… I just find his male fans and blog supporters wildy overzealous, and easy targets for anti-drake rhetoric and jokes…me and ty and big homie took all kinds of grief for being c.hamilton fans, and we laughed it off…but drake fans catch real feelings
    ^^
c’mon nigga…. you didn’t catch as much grief about C. Hamilton as nigga ty did with Joe Budden AND C.Hamilton put together…LMAO…

nigga can’t even breath around the word “Jo(e)” without RiGz or some other cat sending subliminals… shit is funny man…

…. lmao, it sho is funny, people having problems with what type of music people like and find any reason other than the music to hate, but I’m cool with it like land said I just laugh it off and now I won’t even speak on it because no matter what I say it will be twisted it’s all good though, D_blocks new shit is

… O I agree, but we have discussed this before and I think we are on the same page, most of the hate stems from the over saturation of the dude and for the record I realize its Nation and Drake, I mean Dre who are the ones who go gaga over him, but this is still your site so you have to expect people coming at you with the complaints …. I think there is an over saturation for sure, but as I always say if you don’t like it pay it no mind it shouldn’t be bothering people as much as it does …. no shots …

  18. D_Block_4_Life aka heat the track up Like Adobo/Sazon/SOFRITO Says:

FTR i prefered the original BP3 tracklisting (assuming it was official). I kind of liked the idea of less features.

I’m not feeling the Swizzy feature at all, I’m tired of all the boring Swizzy hooks. I mean, if it was just Swizzy on the boards then I’d prefer that. Swizzy rapping a hook on the BP3? No thanks.

I was shocked when i saw the J.Cole feature. I prefer J.Cole or Drake but not both (nh). Whats next? B.oB or Asher Roth? No thanks. But lets see how it plays out.

While i am a Young Jeezy fan, i did not care to much to see a Jeezy feature. I know they have made pretty good music together but i have a feeling it is going to be a south-esque beat and i had a different vision for the album musically as a fan. No shots to the bamma-defenders, i fuck with a lot of bamma shit. I hope this track proves me wrong.

I think i speak for everyone when i say we were all disappointed to not see Nas’ name next to “Empire State of Mind”, but lets look at the bright side, he’s never collaborated with A. Keys before. I think this song has immense potential and i predict it to be my favorite feature on the album if not my favorite song period. I know that I’m in the minority on this one.

I bet I’m also in the minority when i say that I’m looking forward the Luke Steele feature. I fuck with rock/alternative, so i welcome anything that can bring a rock influenced Hip-Hop track or at least throw a twist on it. We’ll also see how this one plays out.

What’s left? Oh that’s right, the Kid Cudi feature. I’m on the fence about this one, i personally don’t listen to Ol’ boy but i know he’s good for a decent hook here and there. I also know Hov’s not going to pick a bullshit hook from duke. I’m just HOPING he doesn’t have a verse. I’m also not going to prematurely shoot this one down either. *remains optimistic*

The Mr. Hudson feature i predict will be dope. From what i read it will be a flip of the Bob Dylan song “Forever Young”. I could see heavy potential with the possible ways they could of flipped it.

In conclusion, i think he might have 1 too many features but i will remain optimistic as opposed to concocting predispositions. I mean, he hasn’t had this many features since the BP2, so to me this is something we haven’t seen in a while. I’m feelin’ both singles, so I’m sure the album will not disappoint.

    *stans it up*
