for sure if Gucci goes platinium this time, hip-hop’s midas touch is really in da south now !
but if Gucci does Gold that will be already a great great success for his new career since he’s free plus wit a buzz !
but i dont think that will happen… even if gucci is cool, i dont think.
    let we see soon

  27. protectyaneck Says:

i dont understand the marketing strategy of gettin a single poppin MONTHS before an album comes out……chillin is gettin a lot of play on mtv hits and mtv jams, i assume its getting some radioplay, im not sure i dont listen to the radio, but when this album drops months from now, people arent gonna know who this dude is
kinda happened with maino, hi hater was poppin at one point, he drops what like 4 months later, absolutely tanks

  28. "A" Chick Cole aka Im like a young simba Says:

WALE suxs dammit! Even Gucci can’t save this track.

  29. sol fraze Says:

Why on earth would Wale get Gucci on one of his records? I smell label bullshit, cause I don’t think Mr. Folarin was just like…. “Hmmm, you know what this track could use? A bit of Guccicoonery!!”

  30. sol fraze Says:

Wale is not doing himself any favors with this bs. He’s trying to make pop crossover songs, and as much as I want him to be successful, neither song is that good to me (though I will at least allow that this one could grow on me). Making mediocre pop songs is not a good look. The pop audience is not going to latch onto it, and the audience from the mixtapes who know how much talent and potential Wale has/had are just gonna get frustrated.

I think this is the first time a single has made me STOP looking forward to someone’s album. SMH….

  31. slow_bot Says:

how is dis a pop song………..dis some straight dmv shyt

Don’t worry, I don’t think this is going to be on Attention Deficit. And yea, I think Gucci just jumped on this without Wale’s consent, at no point in the song does Wale yell out “Gucci!” or acknowledge his presence on the track. He did what Jim Jones did with “I Love College.” And I am still waiting for someone to explain to me how Gucci has as much buzz as he does. Because I could literally sit down and write a verse better than anything Gucci has every done. It is beyond me how this dude made it, and would probably sell a ton of more records that Wale, which is wrong because Wale has legitimate talent. If someone could tell my why Gucci is a relevant artist I would appreciate it. LMAO at the dude that said Silence>Gucci haha

  34. sol fraze Says:

I respect the DMVness, but what makes it pop is the fact that Gucci is on it. Gucci is not DMV. I doubt he even knows what DMV means. It is completely illogical that he would be featured on one of Wale’s singles, seeing as how that goes against pretty much everything Wale (appeared to) stand for.

Wtf, did the label sat him down like: “And so for you next single…. we want you to have a hot feature. So you can pick Soulja Boy, Hurricane Chris, or… how about Gucci Mane?”

Because he talks about the trap all the time and for some reason hood niggas love trap rap. I think Gucci Mane is to the South what Max B is to the east coast. But I could be wrong. I live in Trenton and niggas here love both of them (most of the time).

  36. carlos Says:

fuck gucci mane that lame ass wack ass rapper. he makes me not wanna listen to music. this is like that song that lupe fiasco is gonna make with soulja boy. idk why good emcee’s are teaming up with ringtone rappers!
