Video: Q&A w/ Fabolous – Loso’s Way Album/Movie Preview

It may be hard to fathom the idea that Fabolous has been in the game almost the same amount of years Maino spent in prison, but next week Loso is scheduled to release his fifth studio album entitled, Loso’s Way, with an accompanying short movie that shares a common title. Last night, Def Jam hosted a private album listening and movie screening for Fab’s new projects and while most of the radio joints that we’ve heard thus far are pretty much what we expected from Fab, (still good tho…) homeboy has some heat getting ready to drop. I mean, most people have pretty much written Fab off as a worthy contender for NY’s throne, but Loso’s Way may be the album that will change the way people talk about the kid from Brevort Projects. Throw it in the blog.

Considering your love for lyricism, originality, and “real” hiphop, I’ll never understand why you dont fuck with dude (ll). To each his own I guess…

^ he exposed himself with the gimmicky nike song. After that I couldnt take dude serious. These lil new rappers got one time to impress and one time to fuck up.

    ^^

co-sig, the 9th wonder mixtape had so much potential but his guests bodied him, track after track, from currensy to big sean. big sean damn it! he’s the memph bleek of the roc g.o.o.d. music

    LOL

  5. Mr. Hannukah Says:

wayne bodied wale on the nike song and his verse wasn’t even that tight

“something something something heads…tails…and bad bitches give me heads…tails…(or some shit)” (c) weezy

  6. Mr. Hannukah Says:

mike posner bodied wale on wale’s mixtape – that’s when you knew it was a rap

“i’ve been tryina do it big since 0-3!”

    that shit was tight

  7. b-ease Says:

Wow…I honestly never thought Fab would make it to the point in his career where you legitamately have to refer to dude as a vet. I havent generally fucked with his music for a minute, but I gotta respect that.

  8. SNORT_SNORTCRAZY88SINCE88 Says:

Max B + Stuck in the Tank = Call Combat Jack

  9. Joe 88 Says:

Max B killed the nike boots song, he put 3 verses on that shit.

  10. cOLD Says:

Nothing gimmicky about it. Nike boots are the uniform (well, they were a two years ago) for niggas in DC. That shit was for the streets. Simple reference to shoes does not a gimmick make.

^nah ease, it was how he put it together… Remember when Nas said suede tims on my feet made my cipher complete.. that was hip hop.

But to make a whole song to a fruity beat about sneakers and say it was for the streets is a fail. And explain the lady gaga shit for ya boy?

  11. The-XFacta Says:

Why don’t niggaz just admit that Fab is nice?(||)

  12. Mr. Hannukah Says:

fab is what happens when camel’s flow and mase’s flow go on a date and have sex without protection – 9 months later, you get fab’s flow

  13. The-XFacta Says:

I thought Combat Jack was a character on this video game from way back in the late 80’s

The color of my skin, content of my character,
Dream of a king’s been a nightmare for anyone
White with a badge or anyone
Slightly affected by the tide to this race that I’m running in,
Pardon me, y’all, the racists I run against,
The race war, when it’s us against all of them,
    They subconsciously low talk us,
And probably all think as kramer did still but won’t talk it,
And first off, I ain’t trying to be conscious,
Speaking heart with a conscious, talking to you,
This dark content for those of dark complexion,
Who’s x-ed off, rip, who gon’ listen to us?
Who gon’ speak for us? who gon’ plead for us?
Who gon’ be the head n.I.c. for us?
Who gon’ defend us from crooked police on us?
    I’m just an insecure n.I.g. er…

  15. Joe 88 Says:

Still smh @ wayne calling anyone a fag

Everytime waye does something stupid I just think about that “this is your brain on drugs” commercial with the egg in the frying pan

  16. icon (trillbert arenas) Says:

    Hey,
And p say that I should stop saying nigga,
But if I did, what would be the difference?
I’d still be a nigga, he’d still be a nigga in his feelings,
I’d still be a nigga with no deal tryna get one,
There’d still be niggas out killing,
And still be white people still out to get us,
And still be niggas saying whites tryna get us,
And still be lazy and paranoid niggas,
I’m paramount, nigga, I am, and you can’t be mad,
Cause I choose the word nigga, lemme air it out, nigga,
Nigga ain’t bad, see, niggas just had,
A clever idea to take something they said,
Into something we have, something we flipped
Into something with swag, nigga, don’t be mad,
Bitches ain’t shit, but women ain’t bitches,
See, women are the queens, and xxxxxxx just bitches,
And xxxxxxx say xxxxx like xxxxx is not offensive,
When niggas say bitch, all of the sudden, they offended,
And niggas say nigga to a nigga,
A nigga write nigga in a lyric, expect the white boy to omit it,
The white boy spit it like he spit it,
Recite it to his friends who, by the way, ain’t niggas,
And say nigga, nigga, nigga, my favorite rapper did it,
And non-nigga friends got it with him,
Incorporate this lyric to their everyday living,
Until a black friend kinda hear it, just a tidbit,
He thinks aw, forget it, it’s so insignificant and little,
The white boy sees this as a clearance, now it’s
Nigga, nigga, nigga, every single day,
And that little nigga nigga, thinks it’s okay,
And he’s the only nigga in this particular grade,
And it begins to phase him more each day,
The things they say went a little too far,
He couldn’t tell the difference between an a or er,
So they just keep going, saying nigga in his face,
There’s nothing he can do, he let it get away,
It came to the point he couldn’t look ’em in the face,
The mirror made him hurl, his reflection disgraceful,
Yeah, and make sure everything you say,
Can’t be held against you in any kind of way,
And any connotation is viewed many ways,
Cause under every nigga, there’s a little bit of kramer,
    Self-hatred… I hate you… and myself…
    Niggas…

In civil court i recently had a motion to vacate granted in my favor… Plaintiffs attorney was none too pleased about it, and filed a motion to reinstate. The question is this, once heard by the judge and lets say he denies his montion to reinstate… is it a wrap from there or can he try again?
